This is not a holiday inn, it is a bed and breakfast, so you have to remember that. Having said that, there were a few things that I would expect to be there that were not, for example we had a coffee machine pushed to the back of a cupboard, but no coffee, or even mugs.
We stayed in the Evangeline room and had a few minor problems. The air conditioning unit which is located high up on the wall could not be switched off, so every now and then switched itself on and off. Mentioned to owner but apparently that is how works and cannot be turned off to get a quiet night.
There is a door leading to the outside balcony which has a glass panel above it, no curtain so in the morning light floods in the room.
There is a good restaurant literally two minutes walk called Spahrs.
Breakfast although basic was very good.
