Guest Cottage's BEACH HAPPY where sunrise moments and watching the waves roll in are the main event. This popular island home has all the space you need for entertaining and relaxing after a wonderful day at the beach! Beautifully decorated, spacious, and fun home and thoughtfully appointed for your enjoyment! 3 bedroom/2.5 Bath home sleeps 8! **Minimum 7 night reservations only.**

The Space:
This 3BR/2.5BA home has an open floor plan, a GAS stove, tile flooring, and all the bells and whistles. MAIN LEVEL owner suite, washer/dryer, 2 car garage. Thoughtfully stocked with beach towels and bags. A short walk to the beach! Toast to your holiday with your welcome bottle of wine, compliments of Guest Cottage.

Guest Access:
Instructions for arrival are emailed 5 days prior to arrival. Door code is sent the afternoon of your arrival.

The Neighborhood:
This home is located on first avenue, a lovely area full of families, restaurants within walking distance, and the ocean, just across Fletcher Avenue.

Getting Around:
Amelia Island is a beach town featuring cars, golf carts, bikes, scooters, etc. for all modes of transportation.

Definitely a Repeat Property

Having stayed in another VRBO property right next to this one as it was being built I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it listed and available during our time in Fernandina. Very nicely done, house is beautiful. Will be adding to my 1st choice list for the next time around.

Thanksgiving trip with family

This house was great for cooking meals inside and spending quality time with family in the spacious kitchen and living room area. The short walk to to the beach was a big plus. Guest Cottage was great to work with.

This is our third year staying in this home. We love it even more every time we stay. Steps away from the beach and within minutes of amazing restaurants. The air wasn’t working well our first night, so I messaged them the next morning and not only got a quick response but she told me that they had already contacted the air conditioning guy and we were next on his list. Great communication and amazing stay!

Great House!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and beach access was great. I emailed to find out if there were beach chairs and they said no…but there were several there and a wagon to transport everything to the beach. We brought chairs and umbrellas anyway. A little confusion about checkout. VRBO app says 11am but the morning of check out I got an email that said check out was at 10am and included a list of things that needed to be done…Kim, the property manager, was helpful and we were able to get a little additional time in order to get everything done. Overall great house and great experience.

The home was beautiful! With updated everything super pleased. Our only issue was the air condition unit was broken and it caused us to have a very hot couple of nights. We contacted the property manager and they sent someone who confirmed it was broken, it was fixed and our last night there was amazinggg!

This is one of the cleanest properties our family has ever stayed in .The host's recommendations were spot on .The convenience of beach access as well as close by cafes made for a most relaxing and enjoyable stay. Cart rental, beach umbrella rental all made everyday a fun experience for adults and children.Highly recommend!

Everything was clean and updated. Perfect house for our group of 8 people (4 adults and 4 kids under 9). The host thought of everything from beach toys to towels to entertainment. It was a great house!

Very Diappointing Interaction due to Property Management

Initial listing was wrong called and provided a correction on bathroom being a 2 & 1/2 bath. Property Manager was confused by this. Also large house with limited paper product so bring your own. Very nice house just mismanaged. VRBO site said 11am checkout, book in house said 11 AM checkout as verified by multiple adult guest and day planned around that timing. Aggressive house keeper showed up and started ushering us out of house at 10AM (and hours early). Been using VRBO for close to 10 years now and this is my first negative experience or review. I would suggest property owners replace property manager as they are not proving good service.

Relaxing

We had the most relaxing, wonderful and stress free week at the house. The neighborhood is so peaceful and beautiful. The kids loved the beach and we loved that is was walking distance from the house. The house was amazing and spacious. We are already planning to return next year :)
