GOOD LUCK
1st room floor was sticky you could see your foot prints and then switched our room. Room 301 when you took a shower drain was slow to drain so stood in 3 inches of water and then it took over 4 mins for the tub to empty. 1st night we left our room with the tv on and someone was in our room and turned the tv off and samething happened on our 3rd night too. We had DO NOT DISTURB on the door. My wife went down and the person behind the desk and was told no one was in our room. Finally the day we were leaving with the DO NOT DISTURB SIGN on the door handled a worker was trying to get into our room and wife went to the door and opened it. That is the finally straw we had take valuables with us after the 1st day because we couldn't trust this place. I am requesting a refund because this place should not be opened and 2 out of 3 days we smell weed in our room and it must of been coming from room 303. Don't understand why kids sleeping on the couches in the lounge and running around inside of building and outside of building. I would like to send videos but this site does pictures. I talked to the person behind the desk the day I left and she said when she came in today she smelled weed. She said she would give the info to the owner.

There was a very loud booking in the room above us, mind you it was at 11:00pm, when calling the front desk to ask if they could ask the loud occupants to settle down, I was told “ma’am, it is Friday night”. I had a 15 year old here for a softball tournament who needed sleep, they didn’t seem to care. The room was decently clean but was saturated with the smell of stale cigarette smoke. Will never stay at a Microtel again bc of this experience. I am usually pretty understanding and don’t complain but if you want to party go to a bar, not a hotel where people need sleep. The front desk manager didn’t seem to care.

I cancelled this reservation within minutes of making the reservation. I spoke with a representative by the name of "Daisy". I was assured that I would not charged. That is not true, I was charged full price. This very bad business.

Well, not counting the fact that I've been DOUBLE CHARGED for the 1 night stay, that theyre supposedly working on, it was just okay. We stayed here before, loved it, then. This time, I thought all was well, but the pillows were flat AND smelled like sweat. It was JUST an okay stay. I am very disappointed, especially with being double charged, with the transaction on my bank as MICROTEL, not Hotels.com, where I booked, thru. I was told that Expedia was charging me the extra, when i dont even have an account with them. We will get this straightened out, somehow. The bed was comfy, room clean. It's usually a nice little hotel.

The walls in one room were paper thin. When I requested to be moved, I was then given a room already occupied with someone else: they kept insisting no one should be in the room. That was a safety hazard. I was not provided any comp room for the mix up and they had roaches. They had cooked food in ziplock bags for breakfast and ants all over the counter in the dining area.

The hotel was clean. It needs remodeling and the walls are paper thin. You could hear others talking next door. Our neighbors fought and slammed doors off and on for two hours while we were trying to sleep.

The guy who checked us in was okay, but got the feeling he was doing complex Chinese algebra it took so long. Ugly box of a room. Yellow wals and ceiling resembling curdled milk. Wobbly chair ducttaped together on the bottom, and toulet paper holder fell off because it was broken. Felt like a hospital room because of the ancient light fixture. TV was blurry with very limited channels. Dirty and run down. What a way to spend $200.

Not Pleased With Stay
The hotel needs updating and a deep cleaning. For the amount wecpaid, it was not worth the money. They need to invest in new mattresses and providing a breakfast that is better than offered. We did appreciate the bed being made, garbage emptied abd clean towels. We had asked for shower for sadety but did not receive that. The hotel was loud and got awakened both nights because of loud talking in the hallway. The inspection on the elevator expired 2 1/2 months ago. So, apparently, updates are not being completed.

Pros: Staff was kind. Complimentary breakfast. Cons: MOLD! As soon as I walked in my room I was overcome with the smell of mold. You could see visible mold spots on the walls/ceiling as well as where it looks like they tried to clean & cover it up. The bedding also felt damp. Exit door was propped open with a piece of wood. The doors to outside also never latched close as if they were broken and remained open at all times. The lock on the room door didn’t work either. Just doesn’t seem safe to me.
