WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE
I arrive at check-in time and open the door to the lobby where I nearly step in a pile of dog poop INSIDE the lobby. No one at desk but a note directing me to use phone. Eventually an elderly employee comes out to tell me she can’t check me in because the person who can has left and no idea when they’ll be back. However she gives me the key to the room and says when manager comes back, he’ll stop by and knock on the door. She had a list of reservations hand written on notebook paper which I thought was odd. She also didn’t want my ID. I hesitantly go to the room. Seems okay until I turn on TV and notice a pile of debris around the base of the TV. So either it was dirt or something was oozing out of the vent. As I was contemplating what to do next, the direct TV signal goes out with no idea when it will come back. Overall I just didn’t feel safe and left to go to a different hotel. I have contacted hotel about a refund but have gotten zero response. I will never stay at another Motel 6!

The hotel was nasty! We found fingernails in our bed. The sink wouldn’t drain. There was brown stuff on the wall that looked like poop. The shower made a horrible noise.

Just ew. There are limited hotels in the area & unfortunately had to go with this one. Sleeping in my car would have been a better option. Got sick the following day as well. Front door wouldn’t lock properly, TV didn’t work, AC didn’t work, scummy, grimy, all around just a bad hotel.

We were on the 3 rd floor and the ants were terrible. I felt as I was afraid to move in the shower as it felt unstable as if it would give way and fall to the floor below. The pool was green even though the chlorine smell was terrible as I was walking by. Just the over all appearance of the property was run down looking. They were minor issues that I could see being an easy fix. If the owner spent a little time and money this place has the potential of being a great little affordable place to stay. Oh and the little cleaning lady was wonderful, she was so polite and nice.

The entire property needs a major renovation or just closing the doors! Door handles coming off, grass not mowed, elevator had something sticky on the floor and the smell was horrible. Everything in the hotel was outdated and run down! The bed was like a brick. The only thing I can say good… the floor in the room looked recently redone and the shower was new. Do yourself a favor and go up the hill to the Baymont Inn and Suites. I wish I had checked before I booked this property. The Baymont Inn and suites was only $10 more! Lesson learned

Our stay was awful. We complained at 1030 about young kids running up and down the hall and front room to room. Nothing happened they finally was quiet around midnight and then back up at 6 am loud and running the halls. I’m exhausted

Top 5 worst hotel stays
This is my top 5 worst places to stay. You walk in and it immediately smells like cigarettes/smoke. The women who greets you was not pleasant. She wouldn’t even speak unless it was saying “your room is ###” terrible customer service. We got to our room and it smells like mildew on top of the smoke smell. The sheets and blanket were rough like sandpaper. Our bathroom toilet overflowed every single flush and when we called about it they said “when are you leaving?” We answered and their response was “well tell cleaning crew” so we just have to deal with the overflowing water. Completely dissatisfied. Don’t stay here.

it was very small the room was clean , but thought ok we can do this for 2 days then took kids to the pool it was horrible not sure if someone threw up in the pool or had diarrhea but we stood there disgusted i went told the girl i needed a refund and took her to see the pool they quickly returned my money but not even an I'm sorry . i warn people, don't go there !! The area did not feel safe, all entrances were open, and they said locks were not working . we left and went to french lick indiana it was beautiful
