It was ok. It would have been nice to know that they were renovating, which is very much needed. The elevator sounded sketchy and it was just very outdated. The bed and sheets were very uncomfortable. The highway is right next to the hotel and it was so loud and hard to sleep. I can see they are investing into the renovation, and I would be curious to see how it is after. The staff was very friendly.
It is my mistake that I based my reservation of this property on the overall rating of the facility without researching the individual reviews, which were all in all accurate. The hotel is dark throughout (paint and furnishings) and sorely in need of maintenance and repairs. It could have been more thoroughly cleaned, as the t.v. and mirror were overlooked and had smudges on them. However, the beds and bathroom were clean and the water was hot, so it sufficed for a one night stay. There was a strange, intermediate noise that we could not place that was rather loud and annoying. Our room also faced the expressway so there was noise from that, but it wasn't intolerable. The clerk at check-in was not the most personable and made us feel like we were putting her out, so I refrained from asking any questions about breakfast or anything else for that matter. I will echo numerous other reviews in saying that it was mediocre at best-i.e. it could have been better, it could have been worse-but definitely NOT what you would expect from a Hilton chain.
Check-In girl was nice. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and water was nice and hot. We were disappointed when we came down for a hot breakfast and there wasn’t anything hot available. Guess since there weren’t too many guests there last night they weren’t cooking anything hot.

First of all, when I entered the property, it smelled like a combination of mold and Pine Sol. The elevator didn't work, so I had to stay on the first floor, which I really didn't like! I booked two rooms but only stayed in the one that wasn't insured. When I reserved the rooms, they told me that I would be lucky if they were able to find two that would be available on November 30, 2024. When we arrived, it was like a GHOST TOWN ! I'm expecting my refund for the room that wasn't used.
The staff were really nice no issues there! The first floor side stairwell door does not lock at all and anyone could walk into the hotel!
This property is a bit dated needs new carpet in the rooms. Found mold in our room behind the wall paper that was peeling off in our bathroom to the left of our toilet. Had what looked to be a blood stain on our comforter. The staff were perfect but Hampton inn need to invest some money into this property also the pool is not open and prob won’t be for a while and that was not listed online as not open so if your looking for a pool for the kids find a different hotel!
The Hampton would be ashamed to see the condition of this property the bed linen had a horrible smell the price they charged I could have easily spent $40 for what received unprofessional attire of the staff members I’ll never book here again I took pictures to report to the corporate office as I’m sure they don’t know the property looks this way

It was pretty good. My husband and I didn't like the pillows they were too flat and we wish we had more towels and for a place to put the hand towel rather than the counter. The room itself was clean. The complementary breakfast was pretty good. The waffle maker was my husbands favorite

One of the reasons we chose the hotel was because they said they had a pool.
Their pool was closed. Would have been nice if they said in their ad.
The staff was nice especially the woman who checked us in. She gets five stars. Food wasn’t great but not terrible. However ninety percent of the outlets in our room didn’t work, the mini fridge rocked every time we opened it as if it would fall out, the door looked like someone tried to break in (prior to our visit, not during) we had family on the same floor and they had similar experiences. One room the door wouldn’t shut without having to practically slam it. Drawers sliding open on their own, toilet paper holder was broken (at least they had one because we did not) luckily we were only in town for a wedding because we won’t be back to stay again. Never had a Hampton in that kind of condition

The elevator was dirty and the button lights didn’t work.
The hallway walls across from the elevator on all floors needed repairs.
My room had no shampoo, conditioner, and soap.
My room also had a broken bathroom faucet and the tub had mold in it.
This location is very old and run down. There were stains on the carpet and visitors in another room left the hotel after checking in because they thought they seen bed bugs. I will not return.

Not worthy of Hampton inn title
They gave the room I had booked away. Their phone line to call the hotel was down and their breakfast was so bland. I don’t think I could go back there. The chicken sausage had a rubber texture to it and zero taste! The yogurts, fruit and juices were the highlight! Pillows were so flat. Window in te room was open when I got therre and it was tough to close!
