The Fairmont orchid is a lovely, family and romantic get away. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful! I especially liked the intimate feeling of the grounds which were beautiful! I would definitely come back!

This property is excellent by any measure. The lobby and surrounding patio is gorgeous; especially at night with the torches lit. There was a guitarist each night with drink/food service. Pool area is beautiful; plenty of chairs for all guests which is unusual. Drink/food service was always available. The entire grounds is well manicured. The lagoon is very pretty and loaded with fish. Many places to sit of an evening with several fire places on the grounds and near the beach. Really a lovely setting. Only downside was the price of food which did borderline a little silly. Breakfast, although very good food quality and presentation, price was $50 per person. Drinks are $14 and above. Dinner was very good, again very high priced. We noted many persons were going to the nearby grocery store up the road to stock up. Very nice food choices at store but keep in mind there is no microwave in the rooms. Rooms were perfect.

The Orchid is absolutely beautiful! The grounds are immaculate and pool is the perfect size with a separate section for adults. The food options are good. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet that had about every option you could imagine. The beach is ideal for kids with no breaking waves, a sandy beach, and safe clear waters for snorkeling! It's just a short walk to a nice grocery store, shops, and more dining options. Our trip was just about perfect!

Excellent property. Makes you feel like youre on an expensive exquisite vacation. Very clean. The grounds well maintained. Staff are friendly,polite,and professional. Property is kid friendly. It does not have a microwave in rooms ( for those who may need this amenity). Would definitely recommend to others and would stay again at this property.

We enjoyed our stay. Seems like they are trying to put money into the property to upgrade rooms. The need to focus on doing a few things to enhance the customer experience...like selling beer and soda's at their gifts shops....like having a book donation and pick up. Little things that make it a better experience for the people spending all the money. They have great retail space but not much for the guests to buy. Make it so no one wants to leave and dont have to pay $10 for a beer, but cango into a shop in the place and buy 2 for $5...make sense?

The property is gorgeous, all the common areas are clean and beautiful. Lobby and the view as you walk in is like a painting. Staff will go out of their way to help, and are all super nice and friendly. This is Hawaii, so everything is expensive, and this hotel very much fits the bill. $50 breakfast buffet per person and $25 mixed drinks at the outdoor bar. My one real complaint is the resort is seriously lacking a good espresso machine and someone who knows how to use it, remedied by a coffee shop a few minutes away by car. The room was large and well appointed, if a little dated and some sliding doors didn't operate smoothly.

Loved this. As good as fairmont maui except less crowds. Beautiful property? Great restaurants, excellent service and better value than Maui.

Beautiful property with amazing snorkeling in its private bay. We saw sea turtles, eels, and lots of bright, tropical fish. The garden view rooms are stunning with lots of waterfalls and lush landscapes on the property. Highly recommend!
