"My husband, grown children and their partners stayed here 12 years ago and the “treehouse” has been a sweet memory for all those years. We decided to return here with good friends of ours and it was as breathtaking as we remembered. The views are spectacular with changing lighting from sunrise to sunset. You are able to enjoy Hawaii without the crowds and traffic but you are only a few miles from stores and great snorkeling. The house itself is well maintained and the big timber construction makes for a spacious feel, especially with glass sliding doors wrapping around 2 sides. The owner's suite is huge with an ensuite bathroom and there are 3 smaller bedrooms and a loft that would accommodate a large family. The kitchen and grill with all the essentials make cooking at home convenient. In addition to all this, the owner shares his supply of beach gear with guests, including snorkeling masks, fins, beach chairs, etc. This is a very special place."

"What a beautiful property! Beautiful views! Candi, the host, couldn't have been more helpful. The home was as described and had more than advertised. We had Chef Brad prepare a dinner for us and it was really good. The location is not really walkable to anything as the roads are narrow with no sidewalks or space for pedestrians. Car dependent but everything you need is within a 10 - 15 minute drive. We totally recommend this amazing place.Thank you again for sharing your home with us."

"Anna was a perfect host. She was very welcoming and provided super helpful information, both about the easy check-in and tips for during our stay. The home was absolutely perfect for our family of five adults (us and our 3 adult kids in their 20s). Parking accommodated our two rental cars. Bathrooms and beds were just what we needed. Abundant towels. Full kitchen stocked with essentials and the grill worked great for cooking our meals (mahi mahi tacos for the win!). The large table on the patio was great. The home was a peaceful place to come back to after playing all day and the location was wonderful. We have stayed in the Manini Beach area before and would definitely return to Anna's home. "Our holiday home on Kealakekua Bay met more than muster for our family of 6 ranging in age from 5-79. The house was pristine and furnished all desired amenitites. We had a direct view of the bay through wide, open, living room doors and lanai, and a short walk to the snorkeling area at Manini Beach. As Midwesterners, we could not have hoped for a more "exotic" Hawaiian experience.Highly, highly recommend."

"We love this area, away from hotels and businesses so we can enjoy and take in the sights and sounds of nature. Such an easy walk to the ocean, snorkeling, kayaking, hanging in the park with amazing views.And it’s a short drive up the hill to stores and restaurants. Don’t miss the farmers market on Sunday and be sure to have breakfast or lunch while there.The house is clean, spacious, serene, open air, with sounds of birds and frogs. And so well stocked, kitchen and all.We loved our stay, and wished it was longer…"
