We had a wonderful stay at the Corral Creek Lodge. The property exceeded our expectations considering the price we paid which was very budget friendly. Our only complaints (and these were slight) was the thin walls and the couple in the room next to us that got in a huge fight until well into the early morning hours. This was a fluke and, of course, outside of the hotel’s control. We thought it was a great touch that there were earplugs available at the front desk which we took advantage of the next couple of nights. The grounds were nicely kept and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The outdoor grills were awesome and we loved that the lodge was outside of town and in a private location right near River access. Beds were ok but for the price, totally acceptable. We will definitely stay here again!

Room was very clean. I loved having the kitchenette and the propane grills outside. I think I even noticed a smoker but I didn’t ask since we didn’t need to smoke any meat. There is a small general store nearby but the biggest store is in Lake Isabella.

The property was nice and clean, unfortunately during our 4 days stay at the Corral lodge the room never been serviced, more then that we noticed in the room a very small mouse. I notified the lodge management about the mouse, they put two mouse traps in the room, but never checked and never asked us about it. The mouse remained in our room till we checked out.

My husband and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary. We chose it because of its location, nestled between the city of Kernville and the Sequoia National Park. From here we were able to visit Dome Rock and hike up to Nobe Young Falls, and Packsaddle Cave. The river across from Corral Creek Lodge is breathtaking and the staff were very friendly. Mrs. Tina was an angel who so kindly helped us out the couple of times we locked ourselves out of our rooms. The place was extremely clean and came with lots of amenities.

It’s one of my favorite places to stay when fishing the Kern River. Unfortunately someone built a Glamping business across the street that looks like a penal colony. Really sad for a nice hotel that had a view of the river valley and surrounding hills.
