My sister had gone back to the room and couldn't get in, being the Key Pad on the door wasn't functioning properly. So I had to leave what I was doing and Uber back to her to try and figure out the situation, being that nobody from Vacasa would answer my phone calls or text. After trying for an hour and my family having to sit outside on the floor. Luckily, another renter saw us and allowed us to use their restroom. This was a complete inconvenience. The problem was that the zero on the Keypad isn't functioning properly. It wouldn't even register that you were pressing it. It didn't light up, didn't make a noise or anything. Finally, after over an hour of being locked out, the Key Pad registered and let us in. I then had to pay for another Uber ride back downtown. The unit was perfect for our family once we got in. But we should be compensated for the inconvenience plus the 2 additional Uber rides to and from downtown. The $50 that we were offered doesn't even cover the Uber rides. Something further needs to be done. And the fact that we're just now able to communicate with someone is unacceptable. This should have been handled last night when we were having the inconvenience.
