A5 is in a small complex that is intimate and laid-back. You have a partial view of the ocean from your lanai. However, A5 is in a Direct BEACHFRONT COMPLEX which is steps away to Maui's famous white sand beach called "Sugar Beach". The beach is clean and unpopulated with beautiful views stretching for miles in either direction. You can walk for miles south towards South Kihei or miles north towards Maalaea Bay. Sugar Beach is Maui's longest beach.

A5 has been COMPLETELY renovated, using only the highest quality furnishings, appliances, linens, furniture and details, all with your COMFORT in mind.

A5 has many repeat guests. It has been a favorite for honeymooners and those celebrating special occasion. You will feel like you are among friends in this small and laid-back complex.

This location is ideal for long walks, jogging, swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing and whale watching in the winter (November - March).

The common area is direct OCEANFRONT and features a beautiful tiled pool with whale mosaics on the bottom, beachfront lawn with lounge chairs, large dining tables with umbrellas and BBQ area with 2 commercial gas grills, all with ocean views. The property faces West so you can enjoy each Happy Hour from either your private lanai or down in the pool area or oceanfront deck and watch the MAGNIFICENT Maui SUNSET skies.

A short walk down the beach to the south, you'll find a Farmers Market, an ABC Store, Sugar Beach Bake Shop and Ululani's Shave Ice (rated #1 on Maui). Right next door to the north, you'll enjoy local tavern called Dina's Sandwitch for casual dining with a full bar. Of course, by car there are abundance options from casual dining in South Kihei to fine dining in Wailea and Mama's Fish House in Paia. You can drive to Safeway, Foodland, Costco, Target, Walmart and local shops. Your condo location is Centrally located on the island and about 15 MINUTES from the AIRPORT. It is great for those who wish to see other parts of Maui and then return home to their condo for a relaxing evening watching the GORGEOUS Colorful SUNSET. There is nothing like relaxing in front of a Beautiful Skyline, the perfect end to any day.

High Season (higher nightly rates) runs from late December to mid-April and Regular Season (more affordable nightly rates) runs from late April to mid-December.

We loved our stay! It was a treat to stay in a location right on the beach. It was ideal for early morning paddles on the calm waters, walks on the long stretches of beach and watching the sunsets and even a full moon rise. The condo is well equipped with all that you need for a beach vacation. Krysta the owner did a great job communicating with us before arriving. We really appreciated all the recommendations that she shared. When we contacted Krysta about a few minor issues she responded right away and solved the problems. For example, one of the beach chairs accidentally broke and she went out and replaced it with a new one that same day. I highly recommend this condo for a getaway to Maui. We’d love to stay here again if we come back to Maui.

Lovely condo.
Beautiful breeze way leading to condo on that we stayed in on the bottom level. We enjoyed looking for geckos. Condo was newly renovated and comfortable. It was so nice to be foot steps to the beach. Only downside was the pool was small and water was colder than I would have liked.

I Recommend A5 to Everyone!
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and let me just say, it was the best vacation we've ever had. This unit was clean, and very cozy. We spent a lot of time at our condo relaxing. Complimentary coffee on the patio every morning was a plus! I also want to mention the BED... it was so comfortable! Krysta was a wonderful host. She was organized, quick to respond, and even sent us a list of activities to do during out stay. Thank you, for making our time in Maui so enjoyable. We will definitely be staying here again. A5 property owner made the entire process so easy and provided us with info and suggestions of places to visit. The condo unit was cute, clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. We loved how it was right on the beach and could walk the beach in either direction. We had friends in other units and had lunch and dinner on the patio daily. What a great, small community feel! Other guests were friendly and we visited with them often. We will be back for sure!

My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights celebrating our 1 year anniversary and preferred this to our previous stay on the west side of the island. The location is perfect for exploring the island. It is centrally located and very close to the airport. There are not a lot of restaurants directly around the condo but plenty within a 10 minute drive. The condo was clean and host was very good a communicating. The air-conditioning was amazing!! The condo has everything you could need to feel at home and enjoy your vacation. Parking is free and very close by. The beach is steps from your door. The view from the lanai is not much, but we would just walk 10 steps to the pool area for beach access. I would recommend this location/unit to family and friends spending time in Maui.

The Condo was fantastic, provided bare minimum necessities, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The only gripe we had was the toilet flush seemed a bit low and the bath would not drain very quickly. Otherwise great location and we were able to get instacart and doordash to deliver. Definitely worth it over a hotel.

Perfection in Paradise
We could not have been more pleased with this rental. It was exactly as represented on the website and in fact, more beautiful in person. Ideal for 2 adults! The complex is small, quiet, well-maintained and ON the soft, sandy beach. It was our first time to Maui and we found the location to be ideal. Being in the center of the island made trips in any direction not too long of a drive. 15 minutes from the airport can’t be beat! Furnishings are top notch and very comfortable including the large king bed. Air conditioning and ceiling fans kept us happy when the temps reached into the 90’s some days. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, a rarity in our experience renting till now. Laundry detergent and dishwasher pods supplied as well. Hair dryer, straightening iron and curling iron were there too. Krysta was extremely responsive to us throughout the rental process and worked with us when we thought we might need to stay longer due to a medical issue. She truly cares about her renters. I would highly recommend this unit, without reservation.

We love staying at Kihei Sands, and this unit A5 is awesome. Krysta has all the comforts of home you need and more. Great location
This is a beautiful condo right on the beach. The views of the sunset were just amazing every night. The pool was in great shape but a little cold. The furniture was all new and very comfortable. Beach towels and chairs were provided so it made it nice not having to bring our own. The walkway to the condo is all covered and lined with flower beds. Krysta is a very nice owner and gave us help on local food and places. This is by far the best place we rented on a beach and we would recommend this to anyone that has never been to Maui.
