The fire alarm briefly went off during our stay and activated my wife’s ptsd trauma from a childhood fire. She was I able to sleep that night.

When we arrived there was a line to checkin. Only one front desk person was working. When I got up to the desk there was no proper greeting or friendliness from her; Just “who’s next”. Got up to my room. Room was large and clean. There was no shower gel left in the provided bottle . I ended up using hand soap to bath. Anyway I stay here because my normal hotel was book. I paid twice as much to stay here. Definitely was not worth the $220 I paid for the night.

Great location
We stayed due to storm-related power outage. The location is amazing with food and stores within short walking distance. The property was super dog friendly and even with dozens of dogs staying there at once it was quiet and clean.

The room was current, clean, and comfortable. The mattress quality was very good. The breakfast was excellent and the fitness room was a nice bonus. For a hotel in this price range, I think it is excellent.

We had the week booked Sept 23-27. Unfortunately, we were required to evacuate early Wed Sept 25th due to the incoming hurricane. When we approached the front desk about a possible refund for 3 days we were told they could not help us due to the fact we booked with Expedia? We called Expedia and they also stated the hotel must provide the refund? We are now stuck with paying for 3 nights due to a natural disaster. Looks like I will no longer use Expedia to book!

Check-in was difficult. Understand ck in time was 3, but this one front desk clerk was difficult and ignored us several times when we went to ck if room was ready. The other clerk at 3 was very kind. Other than that the place was great.

While the overall condition was fine, there were some things that stood out. Our room was seemingly clean overall, but I found hair in the bathroom towels that didn't belong to anyone in my family. There were some stains on the bedding for the roll out. There were spots in our room where the paint was chipped or peeling and looked shabby. Plus our mattress, while comfortable enough kept making me roll towards the center of the bed. The breakfast was good, with a nice variety.
