This property needs a major overhaul. Doors not automatically closing, electronic key only sporadically working. Air conditioner blowing right in your face all night. Outside chairs on patio filthy and stained. Hot tub murky with light hanging outside the hot tub, still attached to electric cable (unsafe). Mosquitos and gnats in the room. Terrible hotel. Would never stay there again

Property is outdated, few pool chairs, mismatched patio furniture, broken guest washing machine. Last minute booking wish I had done some more research as our oceanview room was poolside so no privacy and shared patio.

We attempted to check in when the Hilton manager claimed there were “plumbing “ problems in the buildings and they sent us down the street to stay at another hotel. They said the rooms would be comparable. The dilapidated rooms were not comparable and they were going to charge us the full amount for the rebooking in the substandard hotel. Essentially Hilton could pocket extra dollars by moving us. We won’t be booking again. Very sorry to have had this unfortunate experience. We doubt there were plumbing problems, more likely they overbooked and could make some extra dollars.

It was our first visit to Kauai and this was the perfect place to stay. Close to restaurants, staff went out of their way to be warm and friendly. Great recommendations. Several Fun things to do at the resort - ukelele lessons, lei making, fire show. Tiki bar on the beach. So amazing!

Perfect weather in December... 83 and sunny everyday. The roosters woke me up each day... It was a little bit off season so it was even more quiet than usual. There are multiple pools there so I always found a quiet one. Breakfast every morning was phenomenal served in the inside restaurant. Lunch and dinner was served outside at the other restaurant/ tiki bar. Just a great place to relax and get away from everything. Beautiful scenery. I highly recommend!

First day here, and the location is fantastic. The rooms, are a bit dated and have a very musty smell. However, the staff, whether at the front desk or the restaurant, seem overworked or have a serious attitude problem. They come across as totally unwelcoming and visibly irritated. Breakfast was an experience. 15 minutes wait time for a table, which is fine. Almost 50 minutes for the food to be served after ordering it, which is crazy. The experience during the rest of the days wasn't as bad, I think they seem to be short staffed and hence the overall frustration or whatever. They did give us extended check out and some people are sweet. Overall, the place is very dated and is missing some very basic amenities, but in a great location. People of are people, some sweet some not so much. Would I go back? I don't think so.

The first day we were there my husband saw a roach in the bathroom. And the last day he saw another one . The pool was closed the first two days we told the front desk person and she said that the hotel manager was going to call us back and she never did
