The staff here are incredibly helpful and friendly. They are the reason we stayed in the hotel - almost left after the first night. The first room we had smelled of mold and the bathroom a little of pee. Also it had a broken heater so we froze. When I reported this to the front desk they were very very helpful and got us another room and promised a discount on the hotel bill. The whole hotel smells kind of mildewy with chemical cleaner over that. This was not great for my allergic family. The breakfast is decent though, and the staff are just great.

Our stay at this property was not great. When we got our room, the room was smelly and the sink and bathtub dirty. I talked to the front desk staff, who were excellent, apologetic and professional and we got a new room. The new room was clean but the room smelled musty. The hotel in general is in need of a big remodel and the location did not feel safe either. Next door to the hotel is an abandoned building. Pluses: courteous and professional staff as well as good shuttle service.

Life is an adventure
Well, first off, our high floor quiet room had a broken motor AC so we had to walk all the way back down to the lobby to get another room key. Second room was not as nice as the first but okay. Breakfast was excellent. Real eggs! Unfortunately when taking the shuttle to the airport, the first couple leaving at Terminal 2 mistakenly took one of our bags. When we got off, I flipped. All my good clothes, jewelry, medicine, toiletry's and electronics etc etc were in there. Fortunately since we were forced to try to check in and leave anyway, TSA paged us to come to them. Evidently the other couple realized they took the wrong bag while going through. It was not the hotel shuttle drivers fault but be aware no matter where you stay, stuff like this can happen. Also, make sure that you not only have your name and address on the bag but your cell #. I spent part of the morning crying and shaking.

Property located close to LAX and car rentals. Housekeeping was outstanding, kept room very clean. Arrived early and couldn't check in. Was supposed to receive a call when room was ready but never did. Wifi was down one night so I picked up an unexpected roaming fee on my cell. Parking was a bit of a scam at $40 a night when we parked for free on the street behind the hotel seconds from the lobby. Free breakfast had the same offering every day but was ok. Beds were comfy. No usb ports in room so bring plug adapters. Shower head leaked towards the ceiling if we adjusted its position. Overall a decent place to stay.
