NEEDS MORE RESTORATION....
I WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR SHORT STAYS. THE GYM NEEDS A ALOT OF CLEANING AND REPAIR.

First room smelled of sour water from bad plumbing and had something mechanical located above it that made an obnoxious hum. Informed front desk and they switched me immediately to a nicer room with no problems. Rooms tend to be noisy since hotel is located right beside the main road, which also makes it easy to get to. Nice little pool and restaurant is open for breakfast most days. Several places to eat withing 300 yards if you aren't looking for 4* dining. For a cheap hotel that's not beachside or downtown it's a good choice.

Maybe it was because we came in May but El ameyal has gone down hill. No restaurant, dead grass, no complimentary bfast like last year, elevator still broken. Could be a great property with a little tlc

Cabo fun
Great staff....helpful and hard working. Room always clean and good food and drinks close. Walked around at night feeling safe. Will go back! Found surfing and dishinf close by and town is a short ride away.

Only good for the pool...stay away
Adjacent to the highway, extremely noise...barely can get a sleep. Paid for breakfast...only included two toast and a small plate of fruits. Need $$$ for extra. Everything DID NOT work!! You can get a better deal for Comfort inn just close the highway!!!!

Until Reonvation is done, Avoid
the place was in shambles due to the pending renovation, but the pool and Jacuzzi, we gross. We wouldn't even attempt to swim. When they finish their renovation, i expect improvement, but for now, don't stay.

This hotel was amazing. Its was very well priced so we didnt expect much. But it was the opposite. We had the suite with the kitchen. Our suite was huge and very clean. Our cleaning lady was amazing. The pool area was also very nice. However the pool was a bit chilly all week. But was ok towards the end of our stay. The beach is a bit of a walk. However the bus stops right in front of your hotel. You can take it into cabo san jose or san Lucas. Also you can take right to the airport. Amazing hotel. Can't wait to come back.
