Love the firepits on the beach, the smores packages, & the staff care of the pits lighting at 7 pm, extinguishing at 10 pm. Hot or cold breakfast included. Grounds are astounding. If you dont like rustic cabins or hotels that accommodate 200 , this gem is absolutely for you. Friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Married for 36 years, like a 2nd honeymoon ♥️

Perfect View of the Bridge Right on Lake Huron
Family-owned motel with great, friendly service and right on the Lake Huron. They really cared about you enjoying your stay. This was our first visit, but I got the feeling that many folks staying there were repeat customers. The location is perfect for viewing the Mackinaw Bridge and getting around, yet felt private. The have a small sand beach in which they have campfires every night and pass out s'mores. We really enjoyed our balcony too! I would recommend this motel.

Great views and great place to visit
Very friendly check in experience. It appears this is a very family friendly place and staff is attentive to making this happen. Room and bathroom are small, but met our basic needs. The location is slightly outside of town making walking along the highway dangerous if you elect to leave your car. There are lots of choices in the area and this is a good choice.

Great stay, nice staff, beautiful waterfront!
It was a great stay for a one night stop. We were in a cross county trip and based on reviews and photos, we stayed here. And they were not to disappoint! Our room was on the upper level, there are no stairs and the room was cozy. Beautiful outside with the hydrangeas in full bloom make photo taking of the family great. Nice waterfront and it had snores and activities, great staff. Pool and breakfast was nice!

Lakeshore Resort is a gem.
This was our fourth stay at Lakeshore and we absolutely love it. The rooms have been updated. The beach is clean. Close to shops, restaurants and ferries. The nightly bonfires are a bonus. The pool and hot tub are well maintain. Breakfast area is fully stocked. The staff are all super friendly and attentive. Will definitely be staying here again in the near future.

Great Motel
The room provided a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere, with a particularly nice bed that contributed to a restful experience. However, the bathroom was somewhat cramped, and the proximity of the door to the toilet made it challenging to maneuver. We noticed that the bath towels were not as clean as we would have preferred, prompting us to use our own instead. On a positive note, the view from the room was stunning, offering a picturesque landscape. Unfortunately, the beach left much to be desired; it was littered with broken glass and the water was murky, which deterred me from swimming despite my initial enthusiasm. Additionally, the presence of numerous ducks and seagulls added to the overall unkempt appearance of the area. In summary, while the hotel/motel had its merits, it ultimately fell short of expectations.

Clearly a family run business, and they put their heart and soul into it. Beautiful lake view from our balcony with a beach. Fire pits and complimentary s’mores in the evening. Nice rooms and lovely landscaping.

Loved the place and our room. However, multiple people playing Cornhole five feet from our room all day long ! The hotel shouldn't set up these Cornhole games right outside our rooms !

Clean and quiet. Room was small but comfortable and the view from our 2nd floor balcony was wonderful. The beach was sandy until we got in the water which had a rocky bottom and uncomfortable to walk on. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops which were about a mile from the motel. Overall positive experience and we would stay there again.
