We got mixed up on our itinerary-- and checked out a day early. We were told we had to physically check out at the office. My husband took the keys up and they never asked us why we were leaving a day early....obviously, it on us but it would have been nice if they said something...we would have stayed another day--as we paid for it. We got to Miami only to find out our reservation there did not start until the following day. Captain Pips never even called us. I called to follow up. I asked staff if they tried to contact us--they said they should have--I asked well did they? Oh yes they did and they checked the contact numbers--our phones never received a call from Pips. Refund was denied. I think Pips could have at least called us and not fibbed about doing so...or noted this at check out and asked us if there was a problem since we were checking out a day early.....it was a cool place, right on the water, and we would have liked to stay another night. We had been gone from home nearly a month---we were getting tired and lost track of our itinerary.
