Asked for an early check in, was told they would be in contact as soon as the room was available and then never contacted me. They also charged for parking when it was advertised as included. The breakfast was good. I would not visit there again.

The studio room was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent. Walking distance to everything we needed. My only complaint is the bathroom was a bit tight with a shower above the bathtub.

On arrival I was looking forward to relaxing by watching some TV. Unfortunately, there was no remote and it took two calls to reception, and over 30 minutes, to receive one. I guessed how to reach reception on the phone as there was no booklet to explain anything. I had the buffet breakfast in the morning and was looking forward to having mushrooms with my meal. Having requested a refill at the buffet, which was passed straight on to the kitchen, I gave up after waiting for over 30 minutes. I’ll stay elsewhere next time.

Good hotel, great location
The location, service, grand reception anrea and hotel breakfast part of our stay was great! However our twin room on 9th floor was very compact and crammed! Too compact. Fine for a couple as the bed would be one but two single beds separated meant they were still close together, minimal room between and around them and also could only squeeze between bed and wardrobe and fridge door - not able to bend over to see in. The bathroom lights are sensor and on timer, you could not switch it off once finished so glow in the room was bright, but it also meant when rooms next door and above used the bathrooms the fan noise would go off often and be on for 10mins at a time. So very disruptive sleep. Our friends stayed 4 rooms down and next to lifts, they were noisy and they also had the fan noise from bathrooms too. It was a great place to stay but would consider room choice next time.
