Top location for our long weekend, unfortunately just a few little things lowered the overall ratings for me. Our toilet was not clean on check in, incorrect sized bath plug in room, no soap to shower, rubbish from cleaners trolley strewn down hallway, phone didn’t work in room. Little things.

Overall OK - poor experience checking in. Rooms available and cleaned very late and when complete - did not even check to see that the cups had been used and were still dirty. Difficulty closing the toilet sliding door.

I have stayed at Rendezvous at least 100 times in the last 25 years. This time, our room was not ready. When we finally got a room, the shower was over the bath. We are elderly, this is dangerous if not illegal. Could not turn off TV - had to unplug it.

Great Melbourne CBD overnighter
The Rendezvous is located ideally for a quick trip to central Melbourne - we went to a concert and could walk back to the hotel afterwards. Staff were excellent and relocated us when our first room had a maintenance problem that couldn't be fixed immediately. Our room was very comfortable and we appreciated the heritage environment and the conversion to a great little hotel.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, plus we were upgraded and all stayed on the same floor which made it easier as my father is 94YO so I was close. It is a lovely heritage hotel with beautiful fittings with modern conveniences. My room is exactly as the picture shows. Thank you to all staff
