I was initially going to cancel because there was a flood warning for the Ohio River that blew up in the days leading to my visit. I called Harrah's three times in the days leading up to the visit and they confirmed they were open and no concerns. Upon arrival, I was told they were closing the property at 5pm the next day so we needed to leave promptly with no extensions. The casino itself does not open until 8am on Sundays and is generally very small.

The hotel is decent and close to stores and restaurants. The casino slots are extremely tight and no free play was given for new members. After playing over $500 still no free play was added to the rewards card. Will not be returning to this casino but would stay at the hotel again if in the area.

Best Option for Harrah's

An older property is a small town without a lot of entertainment options. On-site restaurant operates only Th - Sa. If you are visiting to gamble at Harrah's, then it is clearly the best overnight option. Rooms are clean and service is acceptable.
