Loved it!
Wonderful stay for our 41st anniversary. Loved the Inn, restaurant, bakery and little shops. Breakfast and cookies were a nice touch. Pool and hot tub were a bonus.

Perfect place to stay!
We love Essenhaus Inn. We stay there everytime we are in Middlebury to see our grandson's school programs. It is perfect - great rooms, delicious breakfast in a lovely large dining room - complete with fireplace! Friendly and helpful staff available to answer any questions or requests. Lots of shops, great restaurant and bakery nearby.

Best place to stay in Middlebury
Excellent stay we were very surprised and will definitely be back. We especially loved having dinner at the neighboring restaurant and loved that the hotel gave us a pass to minimize the wait time as it is very popular and delicious.

Essenhaus is a wonderful place to come and relax. We came for Thanksgiving and to visit with family. The pool and spa area was warm and welcoming. The breakfast was simple, but the Amish bakery rolls were exquisite. Can't wait for our next visit!
