Sort visit, but enjoyable
We did not reserve a room until 10pm based on where we were on the road, and we did not arrive until nearly midnight. The person at the front desk was polite and efficient and got me on my way to my room quickly. The rooms were very clean and nicely appointed. I enjoyed the lighted mirror in the bathroom. The hotel was full, but pretty quiet, I had no trouble sleeping. The mattress and pillows were very nice, very comfortable. We had a complimentary breakfast in the morning and it was adequate. Over all, it was a nice visit, albeit very short.

I think this will be place of choice to stay when I’m visiting Middletown and I do that often. The staff is great and the hotel manager is super pleasant. The hotel is clean and the rooms are a good size so I don’t feel cramped. It’s just an overall great experience

On the morning of the third day I took a shower and slipped falling face first hitting my face. I reached up to pull myself back and blood was everywhere. The tile was covered, the curtain was sprayed, soaked with blood. Blood was running down my face, I noticed a wound across my nose. I crawled out of the shower all while bleeding more across the floor and called my wife for help. She checked on me and immediately went to the front desk for bandages. My wife comes back, says that the front desk had no first aid kit and the lady there gave her a couple band-aids as that was all she had. It’s hard to believe this hotel, which also has a kitchen, would be without a first aid kit but that’s their OSHA violation. After getting the bleeding under some control we were very close to the checkout time. At there was no mention at all of the accident from the woman working. After arriving home the next day I called to check on a shirt I left since I was in a hurry after the injury and in a daze. The manager answered the phone, I told her about the fall. She had no report from the previous day of an accident. I told her the details and that was all there was from it. A few days later I get an email from the manager placing the blame on me. Yes, an email saying it was my fault I fell in their unsafe, slippery shower. I replied but never received a response. I guess they had nothing more to say. Management has no care for the safety of this hotel. Stay here at your own risk is their motto

Property was clean and seemed newer. The indoor pool was small and water was a bit cold and seemed to have way too much chlorine. Hot tub water was Luke warm. Breakfast could have been better with options and freshness. Staff were friendly. Stay was good and most affordable in the surrounding area.
