WE have stayed at this hotel several times before... Our daughter and family live in West Monroe. And prior to this visit we were usually fairly pleased overall with the accommodations. However,things took a turn for UNHAPPY this trip. Due to an emergency with a family member, we arrived at 2am..only to find out the elevator was not in service. Our room was on the 3rd floor.!!!!! Due to the death of the family member, we had to leave hotel very early the next morning. The light in the bathroom was OUT, around the vanity ,making it impossible to prepare for the day unless you used the mirror in the room..... very little light to see by for makeup application. wall mounted thermostat did not control the AC... making it unhandy to adjust the room temperature. WE were at this hotel for 7 days due to funeral of my husband's mother in a near by town ..after reporting the issues above to the staff, we never saw any repairs. .light was still out and elevator still not working and thermostat still not functioning. Front desk staff was kind but seem to have no information about our problems or any repair plans. Unfortunately, we had already booked for a return visit in October, and could not cancel our reservations without an additional costs!!!!!!! WE are SOOOOO disappointed in this situation. It was stressful enough with the unexpected death of my husbands mother, to have to deal with this all week. The breakfasts were wonderful and the hospitality staff were GREAT

This hotel was certainly not worth staying at especially after traveling on a full day of a regular shift of 8-5p job. To begin the elevators were not working. Had to carry luggage, ice chest, along with other things up 3 flights of stairs. Second, looked like someone had just showered in the restroom because there was water on the floor & glass door. Not to mention the multiple strands of hair in the shower. Looked dirty & not clean. Would not recommend staying here if you wanna a clean sanitary room.

There was no internet in the room on the second floor. Wi-Fi didn't work at all. I couldn't work. We didn't get to breakfast, so I can't say anything about it.

The front desk staff was kind & attentive. Room was not quiet, lots of hallway noise, doors slamming noise & could hear someone coughing g & sneezing in adjacent room. Room doors & bathroom doors are very old & beat up. Every time my family was in elevator, the string nasty smell in the elevator was nauseating. I wouldn’t highly recommend this hotel.

Just Excellent
Wonderful stopover. This is probably the nicest La Quinta my wife and I have ever stayed in as we do quite frequently with our dog. The staff was very nice and helpful and the room was great. Everything was clean and comfortable. It is very convenient to the highway and several restaurants if you happen to be passing through along I-20.

It was an amazing stay. I had one problem when checking in. I had reserved 2 king beds rooms and when got there it was 2 - 2 queen bed rooms. They fixed that thankfully. I had read in other reviews where that happens here and it definitely did. Staff was so kind and welcoming. Would stay there again. Breakfast was good also. Rooms clean. One suggestion is hallways and definitely elevator was hot. It was like an oven in there. Lobby and rooms where fine. That elevator was horrible.
