Overall condition created a bad experience

Complex appeared dated except where updated yet updates looked bad. Transitions were taped. Flooring joints were separating Smoke detectors were dirty/stained from age Hotel common space carpet felt crunchy. Interior space smelled.

Not a good nights sleep

The one reason for staying a night at a hotel when traveling, is a good nights sleep. The mattress in this room was awful. It felt like sleeping on a bad futon. It sunk in the middle and was higher at the bottom than at the top. I slept with my head at the foot of the bed.

This is a nice hotel in a busy area of Montgomery. It was surprisingly quiet and very clean.

The room was large and the bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The staff was fairly welcoming and the parking was convenient. It was nice to have a fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room. As for negatives, the room had very dated light fixtures with no USB port plug ins and worn fixtures. There was a patch in the ceiling of the room, I assume there had been a leak or something similar, but the patch was extremely evident and not done very well. So, the rooms just need new fixtures, carpet and fresh paint. The breakfast was good, as far as a variety of offerings. However, the tables in the lobby were not clean and the glass in the entry area was very dirty. The floors were also dusty, so overall the lobby area just needs good thorough cleanings on a regular basis. Thank-you
