The overall stay was good, the first room we had smelled of mildew and wasn’t the cleanest, we got moved to a different room, it was better, but still had a slight sour smell to it. They were extremely accommodating when we asked for a different room the first time, I didn’t want to complain a second time so we stayed in the second room despite the odd smell. Like I said, it wasn’t bad, but wasn’t the best. The roof by the door to get into the second room had a terrible leak and we got wet every time we went in or out of the room. The property was pretty and well maintained with great beach access. The few people we interacted with were very nice. Overall it was a good stay, a bit pricey for what it was in my opinion, but still a good stay.

My worst stay ever at Kingston. We moved to 4 different villas and all were infested with bugs. There was no parking in front or near my villa and no solution from desk staff. Staff at intermission coffee shop were very rude, unprofessional, and unaccommodating. My family loves staying at Kingston but after this visit we won’t be back property has gone down.

I like that the property had a lot of attractions but the condo was not cleaned and had leftover items from the previous guest staying there. Wash cloths was not cleaned enough and I have pictures. No dish detergent not dish cloths to wash dishes. Couch was filthy and needs thrown out. Plus the resort over charged me. I want be going back. You live and learn

The property is secluded. The grounds are well Kept. The main building spotless. This “hotel” also is residential and what I came to understand was for employees who live on the grounds. Up on checking in the front desk clerk was not friendly. There are 3 different buildings. The main building north and south. We were put in the south building. As soon as we entered the building it smelled like nasty weed. Get to our room on the 10th floor. Room was standard. Definitely needes a deep cleaning. Tub clogged. Mold in the shower track rotting baseboards. Dirty walls. No hangers. Of course this isn’t showed when booking. Seems if your not an elite member and book through a 3rd party your not considered priority. We only had an issue with the room. There is multiple pools on the ground and u can use any of them. However they do not offer pool towels unless ur upper class. There are 2 restaurants on the grounds one located in the main building and one across the street. Called the black drum. AMAZING food. Everything we ordered was sooo sooo good. If ur on a budget I wouldn’t recommend. Spacious parking they even have valet. One of the turn offs is they have a desk set up with realtors trying to sell you condos that are on the property. I have pics of the room.

Good: Excellent choice for your vacation to Myrtle Beach. It is close to the amenities and is close to the attractions of MB. Bad: The Master Bedroom bed was as lumpy as could be. It was worn out. There was no maid service, so we ran out of towels and we had to carry the trash out. I wouldn’t have minded this if they put trash bags in the room.

Let me preface by saying I enjoyed my stay and would revisit. I found a couple of things disappointing. First, the room I was initially checked into was filthy and outdated. More disappointing was the customer service. When I got to the first room my card did not work. I spent almost 40 minutes camped outside the door with my screaming infant playing phone tag and waiting for security to come let me into my room. After finally getting into the room I discovered the room was disgusting, outdated and mostly faced a parking lot, not the ocean view I paid for and expected to have. I was much better accommodated in another building. The room was more updated. However, I do still feel like cleaning is not a high priority or perhaps it’s just not done well. At the conclusion of my stay I checked out via phone and later discovered I was overcharged. I’m pretty sure the overcharge was an early check in fee which I kindly requested be taken off, on account of previously mentioned events. The clerk I spoke to agreed to remove it so I was surprised to see that the balance I expected to pay was higher. I called the property and experienced more phone tag. I was put on hold and it seemed like someone was picking up and placing me back on hold. This happened at least 3 times with me having to call each of these 3 times. Customer service is an absolute nightmare!

Check in was easy, however 1st room was dirty (food particles on floor, stains on floor, bedding and furniture. Found cockroaches under refrigerator and on kitchen floor! Called agreed to room change.. room #2 less dirty but again visited by cockroaches. Room 3 still not the cleaned but no cockroaches this consumed our whole first day! Pool visit was an experience couple drunk fighting and poured their drink into the pool hitting my granddaughter security came spoke with the fighting couple but allowed them to stay at the pool where they continued their cursing and carrying on, not to mention the plastic spoons, napkins, plastic cups and fruit slices littering the bottom of the pool. We finally left feeling dirty and frustrated so our stay was less than stellar. I expected more from the Hilton brand!

Nice layout and rooms are big but Terribly outdated and worn. Furniture and Bed comforters are the same from 15 years ago? The AC never got Below 75 and that was only early in the morning. These buildings work on chillers and those are definitely outdated as well. For a Hilton resort, I would expect a lot better quality than this
