The front desk girl was awesome, sadly she was the only perk to the place.. I felt unsafe, after dusk we went back to the room and locked the doors, no joke!! We only ended up staying 1 night when we had an entire week reserved!! Didn’t get our money back, but it taught me to read the reviews and trust what they say a little more than I did!!

The room was alright, but the window was like a shop window (huge) and there was no privacy, so you were forced to shut it and have the lights on at all times.

Great stay!
I enjoyed the Hotel because it was in walking distance to the beach, their was a great night life, that was safe with plenty of patrol. The pool was fun. The Attendants were very helpful. The only problem was we were on the 4th floor with no elevator and my companion is disabled. We will make sure to remedy that the next time we stay by requesting a first floor suite. We will be back!

From first glance the building is old and looks it but the rooms are nice inside and clean. The worst part was all the ashtrays outside on the deck but better than inside. Very good location close to the boardwalk and even better price. The night I was there it was very quiet, though the season was starting to wind down. Myrtle beach itself is dirty and cockroaches outnumber people but didn't see a single one on the property. Would stay here again if passing through the area. The Midtown Inn and Riptydz Restaurant just down the road were the highlights of my stay.
