The property is in a really bad state. Doors don’t close properly, big gap after locking, we felt extremely unsafe. Air conditioning was rusty and dirty, we switched it off as it quite possible it is full of mould, spores and bacteria. Bathroom was in terrible state, paint was pealing off from walls and from the bath, sink was blocked. Floors were very dirty. No accessorises in the room (e.g. hairdryer, safe). We had to provide 100$ cash for deposit. At this time and age in USA! I am sure this suite couldn’t pass any sanitary inspection. I don’t think Expedia should be associated with this type of hotels. I wanted to take children and go somewhere else, it was just very difficult to do it as we came later and were only staying one night. I truly believe that respectable websites like Expedia should not have these hotels as an offer. In addition Myrtle Beach is awful! Fried food, cheep entertainment, lots of cars and loud music. All in all, avoid the area if possible, if not go to different hotel ( this shouldn’t be called hotel anyway).

We were intially given a room that reeked of cigarette smoke old and stale facing a brick wall and a slight view of the parking garage.I was not aware that smiking rooms still existed in hotels,so that was my fault for not being specific. The very busy front desk staff accommodated us by changing us to a nicer non smoking room with a nice balcony facing the ocean. That was great although the door to the balcolny was so hard to open and close! It felt like it weighed a tin and was halway off track with a broken handle...bye bye fresh set of nails.... I suggest if you are staying here only book the ocean front room, pay the extra money, because from what I can tell those are the only ones worth booking here. .

I don't know where to begin. There are so many reviews that will say the same thing I would say. I have no words, this place needs to be burned down. This place is a cr*ck house. I'm embarrassed to even say I tried to stay here. I guess I have travelled all over the world and have taken my chances before, sometimes reviews over-react and I thought this would be a similar case, I wanted to save money.. the occasional review I read some people stated it wasn't so bad. So I risked it. Long story short: woke up at 0400 with burning bed bug bites, packed my stuff and left, could not get money back until am. I booked for 3 nights btw. Slept in my car down the street. I am traumatized from this. I may be sounding dramatic but it really is that bad. Cr*ckheads everywhere. Unsafe. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen to me. If you are on the fence whether to risk it and stay here to save money.. take this message straight: do not stay here.

The Bed Was Actually Comfortable
The only thing that was given 2 STARS...was that the bed was actually comfortable. I could not give the COMFORT portion of this survey any higher rating due to the roaches. I checked in the first night and did not come back until late, so it was not known at that time. I saw where a person stated that they got a refund...I was not given one. We were missing a remote when we first got there (this was before we knew there were roaches) and asked the front desk. The gentleman that came up immediately says, "I just dealt with you guys about this," and we said that he didn't. He replied, "I did," and we had to tell him that were had JUST got there. He did not believe us and told us to search for the remote behind the bed, under the bed, in the dressers. The electrical circuits were hit and miss. This means that some of them worked; but most didn't. Even though the place was ran through, I actually felt safe there believe it or not. THEY SHOULD REALLY OFFER REFUNDS...OR...AT LEAST NOT FALSE ADVERTISE THE PICTURES ON THE WEBSITE

The stay was ok we misplaced the key and i was changed 25 dollars i was not happy at all i did call the front office to notify them she started no problem. Charging 25 dollars is ridiculous 😒 🙄 i will not be using the website again then when i got to new haven i did not know that there was 2 best Western i had booked best Western executive by mistake i was changed 200.00 to cancel the booking this is ridiculous i tried to switch it over i an not happy about this at all i have use this web site for a long time i am very very upset

They charge you a deposit on top of a resort fee and the place is dirty, run down and there is no resort it is just an old hotel with a water umbrella for kids.
