Great place to stay
Very cozy unit in a nice quiet area. The unit is very clean and organized. The host very friendly polite and accomidating . Jist 13 minute drive from Gabbage beach and has many plazas and restaurants nearby just 2-5 minutes drive. I definitely recommend

Excellent and well kept property. Gardens a beautiful addition to the property. Host was gracious and helpful. Air conditioner works well and room temperature excellent. Host offered us tea and sandwiches. Excellent stay ~~ no complaints.

I loved the the hostess Ms Carla, she was delightful courteous and very accommodating. The place was an island delight a home away from home, beautiful and quiet. The host made a vege roti and salad for us it was delicious. There was nothing i hated about the place

Carla, who runs Carla‘s cottage was very nice and helpful and provided lots of knowledge of the island. The cottage was clean and very nice. Carla’s cottage was private and we felt safe. I highly recommend Carlos cottage !!!!

Nice time in Nassau at Carla’s Cottage
Carla was so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I had to cut my trip short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The bed was not so comfortable, too firm. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would stay there again in the future.

This property was amazing as was its caretaker, Carla! It had everything we needed and was perfect for my daughter and myself. The trees we are beautiful inside the gate.It was exceptionally clean and we felt very safe. Everything was very organized from our arrival to our departure. If you are looking for a high end hotel and to be waited on hand and foot, this is not the property for you. It gave us a safe and clean place to lay our head and relax when needed. The linens and towels were very clean and smelled fresh the entire time we used them. I think this is the first time in the history of my daughter that she had one towel for four days but we made it work. I am hoping she will practice that more at home.

Loved every second I was there, the stay there made my week of vacation the best I've ever had so far. Ms. Carla and her daughter were super nice and helpful and very orderly. When the power went out, she immediately notified me of the status at hand, (I'm a bahamian so I already know about the power outtages), but she took no chances and told me anyway. And that's respectable. They also make home made breakfast every sunday morning, so be sure to wkae up early and catch that or you'll miss it by 20 minutes like I did. All in all, great experience, would recommend.

When phones were out and I needed a taxi, Carla said, oh no, I’ll take you. Then, didn’t just take me to my destination but took me to Starbucks first for a coffee. The room was charming. Amazing bed. I will be Back! 😊

The property was perfect, exactly what me and my dad needed. The only trouble being is the location, a little far from downtown but nothing a 10 minute bus ride couldn’t solve.

My daughter and I had a wonderful one week stay at Carla’s Cottage. Our room was clean, comfortable and cute. Carla was so helpful, kind and caring. It was a perfect stay in the Bahamas. We used the jitney during the day then called a taxi in the evening. We went everywhere. Everyone from bus drivers to restaurant owners were so polite and welcoming. Immerse yourself with local culture. I highly recommend staying at Carla’s Cottage. Thank you Carla and Carlissa.

Carla's Cottage was awesome!
Carla was amazing. So was her husband and daughter. Because of them and their home, we came to love the Bahamas and the Bahamian people. Understand that this is a short-term rental stay with this family. It is not a hotel. You have a private room and private entrance. You are living in a regular Bahamian neighborhood with a bus within walking distance to take get you anywhere. If you want to really get a taste of the real Bahamas and not just touristy Bahamas, then stay at Carla's.
