The process to check in for this particular property was very long. I am not sure why but I recommend looking to see if they can streamline anything as it was probably over an hour for most people to stand in line and get checked in.

We reached the lobby at 3:45 a.m. for the 4:00 a.m. shuttle to the airport. The 4:00 had already left. The next one wasn’t going to leave until 4:30. Just the beginning of our sh*t show. We called an Uber. Thanks, Doubletree. You seem to cater to airline personnel. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Hilton chain that I stay all around the world a lot better then this and in general it sould be a lot better conditions,this hotel is old and outdated,anything touched from faucets to door handles in the room either fall off or loose,even toilet seat worn-out, some parts peeling of,in bathtub is same condition, pillows smell horrible,tried not using them,also room isn't clean at all,thank god I brought my sandals avoid stepping on barefoot,also,checking in took us 40min,huge lineup,but,restaurants and lobby area were wonderful,had dining at hotel,we all were impressed with the quality of the food,staff members waiters to receptionist are ok,dont expect smile faces when they serve you,mees to mention,parking rate $25 per night on the top what you pay,so,overall, I will avoid staying at this location of Hilton chain.

I had low expectations about this property after reading some negative reviews. But I was very pleasantly surprised. The lobby/bar area looked very modern and clean, and the rooms were spacious and more than adequate for my one night stay. I don't usually fly into Newark airport, but this hotel was very convenient.

Overall would give it 3.5 out of 5. Staff mediocre and not very friendly. I checked in during evening and it was 45 min wait. Everything else is good, 4 out of 5. Property I think needs renovation to be full 5 out of 5.

We stayed four days. Interesting layout of the hotel but no outdoor seating. This was a dog-friendly hotel and we were happy to sit just off the dining area in the lower lounge/tabled area with our dog for eating/drinking. Food was served in a bag as a takeaway?!, asked for a plate and got it eventually after they reluctantly reheated and plated the food. Plastic cups rather than glasses for drinks as 'glasses were disappearing' they said. Ridiculous! We were always patient and friendly to the bar/restaurant staff. They never acknowledged anyone waiting at the bar to order and none of them smiled once. The maid, whilst cleaning the room next door, put on the TVs on loud, not only in the room that was being cleaned but one across the hall that she was yet to get to. Put up with it, thinking it was a guest, until I popped out and saw the trolly and open rooms with just the maid in. She did switch off but too late after we'd been awoken two mornings running. Corridors hadn't been vacuumed in weeks, ice machine not working or note to say when and if it would be fixed. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Rooms were not maintained properly. Missing paint and caulking in bathroom. Didn't appreciate having to pay alot for site parking. Could hear the room next door through the walls...very noisy For a good point the ataff and reception was excellent

I will not recommend this property to anyone. I feel robbed by paying such premium for my 5 days vacation in NJ/NYC area. I have given this feedback to hotel fromt desk manager as well by all means i need reimbursement/refund for at minimum 3 days of my stay in this hotel. Upon checking with manager at hotel they said sunce i paid this pacakage money to expedia the. Expedia has to do the needfull. I am requwating expedia to help me get my refund

They ran out of parking spaces and I was parking in the grass, also there was glass wear all over the floors in the hall ways, they were out of ice and the vending machines were sold out. Some of the floors had funky smells. The lobby looks great but as you get to the room it was not cleaned well. The towel we had was yellow. The hallways were unkept and smelly.
