The process to check in for this particular property was very long. I am not sure why but I recommend looking to see if they can streamline anything as it was probably over an hour for most people to stand in line and get checked in.

Good price for an alternate to Manhattan
I stayed for one night as the hotels in Manhattan was extremely expensive. This hotel was reasonable priced and cheaper to travel back and forth by Uber/Taxi than paying thousands to stay in Manhattan. The hotel was large, spacious and room was also spacious. It has all the amenities needed. The rooms however were dated and lots of broken trim, little bits and pieces hanging off the frames etc. It's in need of a renovation in my opinion.

The aesthetics of the hotel is beautiful however my room had a clear plumbing issue which the maintenance staff tried to fix yet it continued. Not one staff member offered a room change despite me reporting the issue on more than one occasion. This resulted in me having to walk the corridor on several occasions throughout my stay in the middle of the night and early hours of the morning creating a safeguarding issue particularly with me being a woman to use the toilet at the end of the hallway where my room was which was by a banquet hall and often had guests from work Christmas parties loitering around. To top it off, I was on my menstrual cycle which meant I had to carry my sanitary products to the communal toilet which felt quite humiliating and extremely uncomfortable especially when the needed to use the toilet at sporadic hours. Throughout my stay my bedding was not changed at all, I tested this on the last few days by leaving my bed unmade as I had noticed a stain on the bedding on my first night which remain present throughout my stay. Early on in my stay, when I did use the room toilet the toilet bowl overflowed and flooded resulting in my feet being drenched in water from the toilet and me having to clean it up with towels in the bathroom. The handle on the shower was also faulty and came off which gave rise to a safety issue as it caused the bath tub to fill rapidly with water as I was showering which could have caused me to slip and drown. Maintenance fixed this.
