Regarding the hotel, everything was great, other than unable to take breakfast to your rooms, makes no sense when you have a cooktop and full kitchenette. The surroundings outside are sketchy, but we were fine and not bothered by anybody.
I was accosted in the parking lot the man tried to open my car door. He said can I come to your room with you. He wouldn't leave so I drove away and parked on the other side and waited for other people who just arrived. I told front desk they said there's nothing we can do. Then I went to my room only to discover no towels at all. I went to front desk but no one was there. I went more than once still no one at front desk.
Our TV did not work from the moment we arrived. Sent maintenance man to look at, he was frustrated from the start because the TV had previous problems,. He left to get a tool. When we returned for the night nothing had been fixed or replaced. The next morning we were offered $10 refund, then they decided Expedia had to issue the refund. Not impressed with how our concern was handled. I’m sure we won’t ever see a dime of refund.
Overall very good. Not pleased with breakfast. Food not that great but what I disliked most was at 15 min before it was to stop serving they were removing the items. On Saturday they did not keep food stocked. I asked to have forks, orange juice etc. By 9:45 they were cleaning up even thought it was posted breakfast till 10.
This stay was great the room was comfortable. The only downside is you can hear everything going on in the hallway. There are a lot of homeless people in the area.
