I absolutely love the Tamarijn. If you’re looking to stay somewhere super beachy and tropical this is the resort for you. I’m not a fan of high rises when I stay in Caribbean I want ocean view up close so this is the best location. My family and I’s second time at this hotel. My only suggestions are always having a DJ by the pool at 2pm, a slide in the pool for the kids, do a drop off at the kids club any time instead of strict schedule, and maybe add on a 18 nightclub since it’s far from downtown. This would make me come back every single year for sure !! Most people want to dance and have a good time on vacation :)

Our room was on the beach! We stepped out of our sliding doors, onto a small patio and then onto the beautiful beach! My son snorkeled and swam and we had a great time. Incredible views and friendly and helpful staff. Great food at the inclusive restaurants too.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The walkout ocean room was breathtaking. We were lucky to have a room that had sandy beaches. Some of the rooms walk out to rocky beaches, which would have made for a lesser experience in my opinion. Rooms were nice. We had a minor slow drain in the bathroom and maintenance was there in a flash to fix it. Staff was SOOO beyond friendly. We brought out one year old toddler and they were so receptive of him, and interacted with him during every dining experience. Reservations were a bit difficult. Have to be quick to reserve and if you have a large party (4 people), times and locations may be limited. We were often limited to 5pm/5:30pm or after 8pm for dinner, unless we broke up our group into pairs. Overall this was a wonderful experience and we could envision ourselves going back!

very organized. friendly staff. great food options Wonderful ocean view A shuttle to attractions within 4-5 miles such as downtown would have been great. The activity center hours are limited and not enough space during high season to accomodate all guests. Bikes are really rusty and not well maintained.

The ocean views were spectacular from our room as well as several restaurants. Wonderful hospitality from all staff. Definitely recommend. Only thing there were a lot of babies and toddlers, however enough space to be away from them if you needed to.

We loved our time at the Tamarijn. It’s an exceptional place. The staff were friendly and accommodating. All the restaurants were fantastic. The kids loved the buffet. I liked Ginger and Club Margot. We loved the DJ at the pool in the afternoons. The bike and snorkel excursion was very fun. The tour guides even brought us snacks because we had a slight delay in our trip. We liked having access to the Divi resort as well. The beach was stunning. We liked it more than the high rise building area.

I liked that you could walk to surrounding resorts like Divi and use their facilities. The staff was super nice and transportation was regular. I didn’t like that much of the beach area was rocky. As an all inclusive resort, it was lacking- not all of the restaurants and bars were included. Also, there was no room service and the refrigerators were not stocked with beverages/ snacks that I’m used to in all inclusive resorts. Our room was alright but housekeeping never vacuumed our rug which was full of sand. Noise was an issue as the resort put us in a room which was part of an adjoining room. The thin door between us and our neighbors allowed us to hear arguments, conversation, and noisy children until close to midnight….

All inclusive with many dining options. Food was good and I appreciated all the choices in dining. There was a new concept restaurant we found very fun. Our room opened up right onto the beach and it was cleaned night and day. The staff overall in every capacity was excellent. We would definitely go back.

Beautiful resort
A relaxing, all inclusive stay. Plan on making dinner reservations a couple days in advance. Right on the beach with a great view from the room and throughout the resort.
