Air conditioner made a ridiculously loud noise. Loud noise in ceiling of bathroom . Fridge in room made noise. No sleep!!! Told front desk about it in the morning and she replied that they are doing Reno’s in February. If that is correct then hotel way over priced!! Also room smelled 💩. Just so you know I have never given a bad review but this needed to be said
Booked reservation online, arrived for check in clerk at desk had issues checking us in, computers were not working, had to take information 3 times. Simple check in should’ve been 5 min was 20 minutes.
Smell when you first walk in was terrible - consider air fresheners or a good clean.
Ice machine on our floor wasn’t working. Hotel wasn’t busy and it was loud with the few people booked in.
Bathroom was a disaster, shower/bath had dirty marks, ceiling in bathroom peeling.
Bad smell in room
Bed looked like it was thrown together, bed skirt was half off the bed.
Room heat didn’t work we had to turn up to 80 to feel a bit of warmth.
Tv was unplugged from the tv and the cord was dropped behind the cabinet.
We were told half the amenities were not functioning until further notice (ie hot tub).
We booked her because we always have great service and experience but this is not a hotel we’d book again, especially for the price we paid and found out not all amenities were available.
Truly disappointed - this isn’t an 8-8.5 star, we’d give it a 5 if that.

The staff were amazing and super helpful. Our room had water stains in the ceiling - it looked like there had been a water leak but there was quite a bit of water staining. The bathroom also didn’t have a fan. The food selection for breakfast was good and John at the front desk was great!!

The stay was ok, but the property could use a refresh. The upholstery in the room and lobby was showing wear and needed to be cleaned. There were 3 layers of window coverings, the room darkening layer was fine, the sheer layer was very wrinkled and the outer decorative layer was o ly partially secured to the rod. The mini frig made a whooshing sound and had to be turned off to sleep. We stayed 2 nights but never received fresh towels or any housekeeping at all after the first nights stay.
Staff was great, especially John on the night shift. Thanks John!

Staff friendly, outside of building looks good but inside needs to be redone. No bed bug covers on mattress, carpet in room and hallways need to be replaced. Expected more from a Hampton. Planned on relaxing in the evening and using the pool but it was closed. Noisy during the night.

Room was not the typical Hampton inn cleanliness. Needs refurbishing and a good scrubbing!
The check-in person was excellent, giving info about the WiFi access without prompting. He even texted later, to ask how are room was. As with other Hampton Inns, this hotel has a nice complementary breakfast.
Disappointing. The pool was closed indefinitely and that was the main reason we chose this hotel. Condition of this hotel is run down. Time for a major remodel. Recommend not making reservations through a 3rd party (I.e. Expedia) because hotel was not very accommodating when it came to negotiating a better price because of no pool. 1 of our 2 rooms got cancelled our 1st night inadvertently somehow, against my wishes, and hotel rebooked to another party (at a premium I’m sure). 2 stars is being generous.
The 2 nd worst Hampton we’ve ever stayed at. Seriously dated, looked and felt dirty, pool/spa was down and had been down for about a month with no signs of it being worked on. Port Huron area is very depressed and we regret having included it on our trip to Michigan.
Room was clean but smelled a bit musty. Staff were wonderful, especially John at Front Desk. Unfortunately the pool was closed both of our one-night stays this week (before and after our Chicago trip). We appreciated them getting a "To-go" breakfast ready for my family of five when we had to leave at 5:40 am for the train.
We brought our grandson with Down syndrome for a trip before school starts the pool & hot tub were both down something he looks forward to. Ruined the trip for him we left a day early
