Under renovation which is good because it needs it!! The hallway leading to the pool is very cold! Pool area is old, dirty, trash around pool area that was there for days, moldy around hot tub, broken tiles, very harsh chemicals that lead to painful and itchy red rash on the kids. Breakfast just meh. Waffle mix was out and no one around to replenish. Fire alarm went off 10pm and we all had to evacuate into freezing temps while staff ran around confused. After the fire department showed up it was determined that the elevator motor was smoking. The welcome cookies were not there, front desk lady kept saying she would make them but we checked multiple times and they were never made. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because some of the staff were very friendly. Bathroom smelly and fixtures/bathtub stained. The house keeper was knocking on the door at 9am when check out is at 11 and the kids didnt sleep well from the pool rash that was a bit annoying. There is more i should comment on but i think thats enough.

There was a fire alarm in the middle of the night with zero information from staff. Check in was off-putting. Hotel was noisy with dogs barking and children. I would attempt to get a refund if I thought it was at all possible. Will not return to this hotel - too many better options at same rate.

Mostly love the hotel however last night I stayed and there was a fire We had to vacate the facility while they put out an elevator motor fire Throughout the ordeal there was no staff direction as we were exiting or re entering the building Some training is needed for staff especially regarding fire emergencies

I have stayed at this hotel for many years. I was truly disappointed in my last stay there. This hotel needs to be updated. The room was not clean, the wallpaper was coming off the wall in the bathroom, mold around the tub, the rug had not been vacuumed. I will stay somewhere else next time I am in South Portland.

Must've been one of the first properties built in the rooms beds and furniture have not been updated. Taking a tissue wearing it and wiping on the chase lounge comes up black. I had to hand flush the commode for two days over the weekend before maintenance repaired it on Monday. Never again.

Place is outdated . Trash outside along paremeter but when you pay good money for a room you hope to at least have the tv work . Neither the tv nor the remote worked at all and staff had no idea how to fix.

The frontdesk staff spoke less than 10 words to us. No customer service. The room smelled of marijuana. Room was large and comfortable. Good breakfast and large libby.

My wife accidentally left her cell phone in the room we were staying in when we checked out. She did not notice it missing until at the airport. Called the manager on duty at the hotel and he found the phone in the room and even expressed mail it to my wife. She received it just a few days later. Thank you Austin.

Probably one of the worst Hampton’s we’ve ever stayed in. Hotel is in terrible shape. We asked for towels at night and were told they had none. Pillows were small and bedding not up to Hampton standards. Blanket was dirty. Door to the bathroom sticks really hard to the ground and is loud opening. Fridge was off and smelled. Wallpaper falling off the walls. Just in general in terrible shape and services from the personnel were extremely lacking.
