We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts while watching the birds at the large wide window. The owner prepares unique breakfasts with several unique touches and it’s a long walk to the Vanderbiltmansion or local stores.8.

What a gem! Inn the Woods is a lovely B&B very close to the FDR home and museum, the Vanderbilt mansion, and so much more. The hosts provided thoughtful touches in our room, such as a small fridge with bottled water, bedside lamps with USB ports, and plenty of hooks in the bathroom. And the breakfasts! Absolutely delicious and all made personally by our host. He even catered to my husband's unfortunate meat allergy by *making* turkey sausage patties to go with the eggs. We highly recommend Inn the Woods!

Our 2-night stay was absolutely amazing, the bed was soft and comfy. Our Host Harry served the most delicious breakfast, and his service was far better than you find in restaurants. We would certainty stay her again.

Second visit to Inn the Woods and I’m sure there’ll be a third. A wonderful B&B with the most caring hosts possible. Breakfast is incredible and the Tree Top Room is spacious and ridiculously relaxing. Whether you are in the area for the attractions or just some R&R as we were, you must come here.

This is an impeccable bed and breakfast at the end of a forested cul-de-sac in Hyde Park. Harry, a trained chef with much experience, serves a perfect presented and perfectly prepared breakfast.
