The hotel itself is older and the heating/cooling unit in the room was noisy. Otherwise, the room was clean and staff friendly. I enjoyed the convenience of a breakfast being included.

Good place to stay
The breakfast was good with enough variety. The egg dish could have varied by day though. One day, there were even bowls with melon and pineapple. It was good to have a restaurant and bar in house, closed on Sunday though.

The staff was accommodating, and incredibly friendly. Even the bartender was very friendly. The hotel was spotless and comfortable. It was a nice area, and had a little trail to walk just down the road.

I was there only to sleep
The hotel is nice but the room I was in was not great. The heater/AC would not turn on and neither did the TV. Good thing I was only there to sleep. I feel like the discount rooms I get thru hotels.com and other sites are usually the worst rooms, I def felt that way this time.

The rooms need some updating. Paint and carpet is in desperate need. Breakfast not as good as most other Holiday Inns. Plus they charge you for it. Should be a little better.
