Check in was fast and easy, staff was very friendly. Unfortunately we ran into a few issues, half a roll of tp in the room for 5 people (3 kids) trash from previous people was still left in the room, no phone in the room to call front desk, had to go to the desk for plumbing issue but maintenance had already left so they gave us a plunger which worked fine but still annoying. I stay at this hotel chain on most of our short outings because I usually enjoy the accommodations but I think this one just needs to step it up a bit..and I hate leaving reviews like this :(

Although the stay was not bad and the staff were great, we were a little disappointed in the state of the room we were in. There was nothing that hampered our stay, but there were several thing that needed to be fixed that would not have taken very much effort. * Broken cabinet drawer under the sink. (Drawer was just thrown inside.) *Bathroom door would not shut properly. *Handle on the cabinet for the refrigerator was missing a screw and was loose. It had been for a while, as you could see the half circle mark it left as it was swinging. *The lamp for the sitting chair had no bulb. *The built in electrical sockets and USB ports that were built in the bedside tables were loose and anything plugged into either would not go all the way in, or would fall right out. * The cabinet under the sink (where the door was broken) was dusty. This is where the towels were kept. * There was missing baseboard next to the bed. The bottom of the drywall was up about an inch from the floor. This could be a problem, especially for a small child. *The room also looked unvacuumed when we went it. I understand that this is not a 5 start luxury motel, and is fairly inexpensive to stay in, but minor things like this will make us second guess staying in any of the motels in the chain. Unfortunately is shows a lack of pride on the ownership. On that note, the same motel in Gap, PA was very nice, clean and free of damage, (At least the room we were in) which is why we chose this one.

A piece of the head shower broke and they didn’t even provide us with another room. They told me and my partner that they would fix it the next day but how are we going to be not showered. That’s disgusting. And the place wasn’t too clean. Please be able to help YOUR customers out.

I booked through a 3rd. party reservationist. After booking... I then, read over the reviews. Afterwards, I thought I had made a serious error by booking here. Based on the reviews I attempted to cancel but I didn't qualify for a refund. Reluctantly, I enter into the lobby. To my surprise it was well lit, clean, fresh smelling and inviting. After a quick check-in, I proceeded nervously to my suite (rm 410) and it too had the same effect as did the lobby. Although, the cloth chairs in my room could definately use a good steam cleaning my stay was very, very comfortable. In fact it was so comfortable that it was the knock on the door from the cleaning staff that awokened me. It's not a "FOUR STAR" hotel but, it's a very decent, safe, clean, and yes... comfortable place to stay. I have NO regrets and should I ever need to stay/rest in that area again, I'd most definitely book my stay there again @ this Comfort Inn. This hotel reviews are HORRIBLE. Which only proves... "Dont believe everything that you read". Btw: They also have a decent hot breakfast consisting of waffles, sausages, eggs, hot and cold cereals, muffins, juice, milk and etc. Dont take my word for it... Try it for yourself.

This hotel was filthy. When we arrived to our room it was obvious the carpets had not been vacuumed and the bathroom floor had not been mopped. There were random hairs all around the shower surround as well. The person we saw upstairs cleaning the room across the hall was just in the room with the door open but wasn’t cleaning. That was at least the fourth time we saw her in a 24 hour period and each time she was, scrolling social media, eating, or taking a personal call. That may be the cause of the state of the room but I would never venture to stay there again!

The hotel was in a good location for our needs. All staff we encountered were friendly and professional. While parts of the hotel had undergone remodelling, parts still require freshening like the carpeting. Breakfast area supplied everything necessary for an adequate start for your day, was well taken care of and refreshed as was needed. We would stay here again when in the area.
