Do I smell paint?

The hotel is remodeling, and it was not shared prior to booking. A strong odor of paint was in the hallways and was noted in the room also. The stairways were dirty due to construction traffic and parking was extremely limited. The lobby area seemed to be the only area where the smell of paint was not noticeable.

The room we booked had no heat. The room they moved us to had no heat. We eventually figured out how to get the heat work, which the person who worked there did not know how to do. My kid ended up sleeping on a sofa instead of in a bed. Disappointing all around.

We had a great stay. The breakfast was good the only thing was they didn't have milk the second day so I couldn't have tea and no cereal for the kids but other then that it was good.

They were working on renovations and the elevator had a disconcerting note that it can break down but you had to use your cell phone to call the front office. There was a couple of black specks in the fold of the curtains. Dirt maybe? It wasn’t moving. So hopefully not bugs. Oh the bathroom is very small. Maybe why they are renovating.
