I didn’t like the heated pool doesn’t have a shower and washroom. We tried to look around cause my friend’s kid needs to go to pee. Do you want the kids to pee in the pool?
Another thing I’m disappointed for the juice at the restaurant as it’s not refillable with a price of $4 and small amount of juice to drink.
But, the place was great. I love the ambiance. I love the atmosphere. Lobby is exceptional. The view is amazing. The Ghost Town is wonderful.
We enjoyed the scenery, we’ve travelled alot through Alberta to Vancouver and always wanted to stay at this hotel. We are very happy we did for the two night. We explored the surrounding area - hikes, hot springs and peaceful mountain views.

This is a unique property. Just be sure you don't want TV or wifi. Beautiful surroundings.
What a beautiful, quaint place! We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful resort, our room with a balcony overlooking the gardens and lake, and the friendly staff.
I wish we could have stayed longer than one night.
Best creepy hotel ever!! It even has a ghost town on site. Delightfully dated property. We stayed in a two level room. The clouds hung over the lake in the morning to add to the ambiance. Would love to come back with the kids and grandkids. Every corner of the hotel has a new adventure whether it’s a pool table, pingpong, floor chess, the pool and hot tub, a library or more. Wish we’d have stayed more than one night.
Unique place. Staff awesome. Lots of things to do . Would come again!!

Hotel has sulpher odor in hallways , probably area nothing could be done but air freshener . Needs updating everywhere . Walked upto front desk no one there (watching me through a two way mirror maybe ) wakes around in circles then they came out , seemed put out I was there -not friendly . Wanted money every angle to do anything on property . It seems since owner died not a dollar put into place. Beautiful area , beautiful
Looking but nah. We paid for room with view . Not really . Was just very disappointed

The historic hotel was surrounded by mountains and a lake. Amazing scenery! Friendly staff. Interesting ghost town tourist attraction adjacent to property. The chateau is outdated but has plenty of character. Where else can you find a wooden circular staircase leading to a library in the lobby? Plus family activities such as a pool table, fooseball table, ping pong table, giant checkers game, and indoor swimming pool. They also feature an indoor garden (sunroom filled with plants) and outdoor gardens.
This hotel was amazing from the lake view from the room to the garden courtyard and the townsite next to it everything was really good! Would highly recommend for anyone heading out near revelstoke, the view are unreal!
Location is magical nestled between valleys and at the end of a beautiful lake. Property grounds are unique and lovely. Lady at the front desk went out of her way in helping us find a picnic spot.
