Excellent hotel!
Very helpful front desk staff, particularly Haven but others, as well. Beautiful, comfortable lobby. Great breakfast, including delicious caramel latte. Comfortable room. Covered parking. All in all, we enjoyed our stay there.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Location is walkable; but some steep hills. Room was very nice and never heard any noise. Now the negative, Saint John has a serious homeless problem and the tents can be seen from the hotel. We walked near the area without incident; but Saint John and local businesses need to help those people.

The presence of a homeless encampment between the hotel and the designated tourist areas was a huge negative.

Unfortunately, the heating/air conditioning unit in our room was very noisy. And at the end of each cycle, the unit would get louder and shut off with a banging noise. We should have requested a different room but we had arrived late after attending a concert and thought we'd be able to sleep through it. Not so!

We stayed two nights at the Wyndam Chateau Saint John. Sean, at the front desk, was both wonderfully welcoming and quite helpful. Our room, a beautiful suite, was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast room, with hot and cold choices, is led by Trudy, an extraordinarily upbeat and delightful person and sets a wonderful first thing in the morning tone. I feel certain that this hotel provides a consistently outstanding experience for all of its guests.
