This is the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. When we arrived, I reminded them that in my reservation I said I needed the ground floor as I know that hotel.com does not guarantee that they will get the message I called months ago and confirmed a ground floor room no problem no problem at all. Nope we were upstairs. We have booked two rooms in this hotel for the trip back in about two weeks. So I checked with them because I called about those as well. Are we on the ground floor no strike one as they would not let us cancel our reservation and go elsewhere. The hotel has no elevator. Have you ever seen a handicap woman get up a flight of stairs that are so steep it’s like Mount Everest? Well took me at least 10 minutes and that’s being kind and generous . So, we get to our room and I will go to go to the bathroom and there’s no water in the toilet. At all. So I called the front desk and we wait and we wait and wait because I don’t wanna go to the bathroom and there’s no water in it. So I did some googling and I realize the water was off so I turned it on and let it fill up. That might’ve been a major mistake. Why? Because the toilet ran the entire time we were there gurgling gurgling gurgling gurgling gurgling, and it smelled like sewage … the tank toilet tank I think. It reeked. We also had the pleasure of listening to our next-door neighbours n both sides pee loudly. Cancelled staying there on way back I’d rather sleep in my car.

Uncomfortable bed, sink outside the bathroom, very noisy at night you can easily hear the rooms next to yours. Fridge was leaking, not sure about the cleanliness of the place. Probably has not been renovated or updated for a number of years. Positive: the view is incredible and the restaurant is good.

I was in the outer building. Nice room however there was no air-conditioning, which was not a deal-breaker. They provided a large fan and I suspect that temperatures along the St. Lawrence River are somewhat modrate, even in July and August.

We were put in an adjacent property. There are no ACs in the property. It was cool outside so we opened the windows. Heavy machinery noises woke us up at 5.30 am. Beds are terrible. They sink in the middle which makes two occupants get pulled towards the center. Very uncomfortable stay over all. We were out on a multi day road trip and this was by far the worst stay. Woke up very tired with a headache.

Large room with recently renovated bathroom. Hotel restaurant has view of water, however you need a reservation. Local coffee shop across street and another restaurant was within walking distance. Pier is a very short walk from hotel.

Le nourriture du restaurant était vraiment excellente ainsi que la serveuse qui connaissait bien les plats disponibles dans le restaurant donc elle pouvait nous conseiller. La chambre où nous avons dormi était très propre mais désuète et il n'y avait pas d'air climatisé.

Rive magnifique et chambre confortable
Nous avons hérité (réservation de dernière minute) d'une chambre avec fenêtre sur le côté de l'édifice, alors la pièce était peu éclairée, mais le frigo était de belle grandeur et les lits très confortables. La chambre était propre, équipée généreusement et nous avons bien apprécié la présence d'une table et de deux chaises devant la fenêtre. Le service était sympathique et la vue sur le fleuve de la salle à manger nous a enchantés.
