Was quite sufficient for what we needed. Convenient location close to the main shopping and dining area of San Clemente. Plenty of parking, room was basic but clean, bed comfy. The only bummer was that Expedia said free breakfast and there wasn't any and no water available in the vending machine. But it was a reasonable price and I would stay again.

The staff/owner was very nice. She changed my room to a different one when I expressed I wasn’t happy with the one I had been assigned. My only complaint is that there was an annoying little noise in the room that I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Aside from that, it was a pleasant stay.

The new newly remodeled rooms are lovely. What makes this property especially nice are the couple managing it. Super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Location, pics were better than reality. I ended up trying to cancel upon arrival, of course that wasnt allowed. Ending up leaving 1 hour later and not using the room, was not acceptable. So i forfeited my 150$, lesson learned on reviews and write ups versus reality. Staff was pleasant, maybe if the work being done is completed, it will be an acceptable place, even if 1 night

The Roadway Inn not value for money. Basic accommodation and no service we had to tend to the room our self. Found the staff not at all friendly, the only staff we saw was at reception. No breakfast available and rather a long drive to get some. Would not stay there again.

The rooms were outdated. But we were moved to another room eventually that was in better condition. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and made accusations against me that were inaccurate.
