I will definitely stay again! Easy access to our room & walking distance to everything we were interested in. The room itself was nicely decorated & clean, comfortable bed. We brought our pup with us & they had a water bowl & treats for him. There was an expresso machine, water & chocolates which were all nice touches. The robes & slippers in the restroom were nice too. I recommend anyone to stay here!

This hotel is in walking distances to almost all parts of downtown Solvang, so location wise, it is very good. Parking is free and easy. Although there is no staff onsite, check in/check out is very smooth and convenient. The room is of Danish style, and is quite new and modern. Generally a good stay!

Beautiful and Dog Friendly
Place was beautiful and self service access was easy. You can call or text if you have questions all day and night. Complimentary dog food bowl with water bottle and dog treats for my dog. Bathroom was big but the air was not that strong inside. Very well decorated that you feel like you’re in a fancier hotel. Quiet with no loud people.

We were completely surprised by The Winston. It was absolutely wonderful! Right in downtown Solvang, walkable to everything. Modern, elegant, spotless and very chic. Huge bedroom and separate bathroom, with a living room, as well. Wish we booked for a longer stay. Just know that there is no in-person contact. They email and/or text codes to get into your room but there is staff available by phone and text to help. We had to call to confirm our check-in code and the staff was immediate and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The property has no on-site staff or lobby. They neglected to tell us this before we arrived and there is no signage for how to get in. Standing outside with our bags, we reached out for help and they emailed information on how to get in, park, etc., but it did not clearly indicate our room number. As we searched around, we finally found a reference to a number ambiguously listed on our invoice which turned out to be our room number. Once we were in, the room was very nice, spacious, clean, quiet, modern, etc. It was just the first negative impression which they need to work to fix.

The rooms were clean and a nice size. The hotel was centrally located near all the shops and restaurants. I was able to park there before check in which was great so I didn’t have to drive around for parking.
