Stay was good, close to town and cute room. Negatives - rooms were tiny, was given gate instructions before my arrival and once I was there was told the gate would open for any car that came up to it. Didn't feel unsafe, but wish this was more secure than just letting any car in. A large reason that we booked this hotel over other hotels in the area was because of the rave breakfast reviews. We stayed for 2 nights over New Years Eve and New Years Day and came down for breakfast on New Years Day and was told it was closed. The attendant at the front desk said we emailed you and I let her know I did not receive an email nor was not informed upon booking the hotel or when I was checked in. Was then told we emailed those reservations that were booked through AirBnB which mine was not. Very frustrating as we then had to spend an additional expense for breakfast that we werent expecting.

I booked on Expedia at around 8 pm, got to the property at about 8:20. The office door was closed and locked. Sign said the office was staffed until 9 pm, and had a number to call after hours. I called the number and got no answer and a recording said the voice mailbox was full and I couldn’t leave a message. I wasn’t sure what to do at that point so I waited outside to see if someone would show up. After 5-7 minutes, they did. They had been in the adjoining cafe next door and expected me to go there to check in. Just useful info for any others who have a similar experience. I had booked the suite, and it was fabulous. So I had a good experience once checked in.

The room was basic but very clean and everything worked. The outstanding feature of the Mystic is its restaurant and free breakfast. When they say “breakfast made to order,”they mean it: homemade potatoes, several pieces of thick bacon, eggs cooked to your specifications, and good bread (or tortillas). The restaurant itself is gorgeous and features outstanding art and decor. The space is available to rent for parties or private events. Would be a wonderful place for a small wedding reception…highly recommend.

Picture online showed a coffee pot in the room, but there are none in the rooms we were told. Had to go to the restaurant for coffee. But the upside is that a hot breakfast was included with the room and the coffee was excellent.

We stayed here on thanksgiving day. So, they didn't provide expected breakfast but pastries. Staff is not ready to say sorry (or) courteous for that. But, they were ready to cancel my reservation when I asked them about breakfast on thanksgiving day. Customer Service personal is very rude and unprofessional. Otherwise, this hotel is good place to stay with spacious backyard, parking spaces and nice location.

The witchy vibes are fantastic. It felt like a home away from home. The check in was seamless and the front desk staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable and theres plenty of good food nearby. The walls are a little thin, but thats alright. The gated property made us feel safe leaving our car overnight. Wish we were staying for longer than just one night! We'll put this on our list of great places to stay :)
