With a king sized bed and a sleeping loft with a double sized mattress, our studio-style Bear Paw Cottage comfortably sleeps two adults and two small children.
The hot tub on the covered porch offers a enjoyable, relaxing experience with the comfort of privacy. We also offer a charcoal grill and picnic area so that you may enjoy more of the beauty of our mountains.

Cute cottage, noisy location, bit overpriced
The interior of the cabin, though tiny, was cozy, clean, and quaintly decorated. The hot tub was nice. These are roadside cottages, that are spread out in sort of an arc across the parking lot, numbered 1-6. We randomly picked cottage 6 which was unfortunately the one closest to the road, and the traffic noise was not very relaxing, and decided to leave a day early. We felt the $238/night price was high for what we were getting, but maybe this was a temporary increase for the Oktoberfest crowd. I doubt I would stay there again, but possibly for those who are able to book at a lower price point and get a cottage farther from the road (for example, cottages 1-3), they might be better satisfied.

Amazing
We had the best time . Hot tub was amazing for my old bones after a long day of hiking. Grandkids absolutely loved the loft. Best of all we only needed to bring clothes, food and drinks. It was amazing to have everything we could have needed already there. Plus it was extremely clean.

Cute getaway with access to all Helen has to offer
Very clean with all the necessary amenities. Very convenient location. Also we needed this on short notice due to a death in the family and everyone was very accommodating. ******Only side note, the second bed is on a loft which has a vertical ladder. Could be an issues with kids or a medical condition. More than met our expections.

Everything was wonderful for a weekend away with my husband. The only complaint that I have is the noise from traffic. We were in the cabin closest to the street. The traffic was very loud all through the night. Everything else about this property was amazing. Clean and cozy.

Small cabin with loft and hot tub but everything you need
This is a small cabin with very simple amenities but If you plan on spending most of your time outdoors itā€™s perfect. There is not a washing machine so keep that in mind when packing. Hot tub was great and relaxing. The kids enjoyed sleeping in the lofted bed area.

This little cabin was perfect for a quick weekend trip! Penny was very responsive, and check-in was quick and painless. The room had all the amenities needed, and all expectations and directions were outlined clearly. Canā€™t thank Penny enough for helping us with this last minute surprise trip!

We enjoyed our stay at cottage 6. It's pretty much the size of a hotel room, but cabin style with a loft. Its right on the road, but didn't have much traffic at night. We loved the hot tub, and it was clean and hot on arrival! The cottages are close together, but they provide curtains for privacy for the hot tub. King size bed was comfortable and loved the plump pillows! Plenty of extra bedding and nice oversized towels for hot tub, not the plain, cheap, thin ones! They also have 2 bags of firewood inside the room for purchase at 2 for $10, just leave cash in envelope. Would stay again!

These cabins are so cute-accommodates 4 well. Everything was provided and even asked Penny the owner for some briquettes for the BBQ and they had some! Nice people, nice place, would definitely stay again!

Last minute booking for spring break week
We had to change our spring break plans last minute due to wild fires in Sevierville,Tn. Found this lovely little dog friendly cottage close to Helen & Unicoi state park. Our 13 y.o. daughter enjoyed the cozy sleeping loft. The fire pit & outdoor seating area was a big hit with the three of us. Went hiking each day at Unicoi state park & enjoyed dinners in Helen. Great location & very friendly owners.
