They cater to flight attendants, so I assumed it was probably a good hotel for it being older. Upkeep and customer service are not priorities. It took 5 people to get a to-go order at the restaurant. No hostess up front but when she got there, she left to find out who could take the order then sent me to a waitress station. The waitress there said she'd be with me in a minute then left to check seated customers. Next waitress asked if she could help then sent me to the bar. The person at the bar took my order, handed me a ticket with no signature lines and no pen and then disappeared. Another person at the bar asked if he could help I told him I had a to go order. He found it and got it started. While I waited he asked waitress #2 if she was glad to be back at work and with all the sarcasm she could muster she said she was. He told her he could cover her area and his. He was doing a great job, stayed busy, checked on people, wasnt overly friendly, didnt pretend to be busy. The staff restaurant dont seem to like or communicate with each other, so I knew I couldnt relax/return there. The hotel has popcorn ceilings which is expected, but not the brown stains, leaking areas, and missing light covers. The last day of my trip i realized there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling corners of my room including the bathroom and part of the patio door opening. First time I EVER got stale/hard cookie at a Double Tree, but I got fresh ones later. Depressing location.

This use to be my go-to place when I needed a place to stay in the Seatac area. It's convenient but no longer being maintained as before. Rooms are not cleaned very well and if you expected amenities like a Microwave or Refrigerator make sure you confirm it with the Front Desk -when you check in. They could care less if what you requested when booking isn't in your room.

Checked in for a night. We were in wing 5 and the beds were lumpy and the sheets were scratchy and loud. Pillows were flat and uncomfortable. We requested extra pillows 3 separate times and never received them. Room above us was partying hardcore (jumping, crashing noises, loudly talking/yelling etc) till ~midnight - hotel didn't address it despite calling 3x. Will absolutely not stay here again. We were all miserably uncomfortable and slept terribly.

We enjoyed our stay on the 6th floor of the tower. We were comfortable and liked the size of the room. There's two things in need of improvement: the hot water was tepid in the sink and the tub faucet, and the cable television is very dated and oddly difficult to navigate with the remote. However, we'd stay again. The service is friendly, the long term parking is reasonably priced and the beds are comfortable.
