Our home is on 7.5 wooded acres on top of a scenic ridge. The Bears Den was remodeled in 2021. The space is a well furnished basement floor with eye-level windows on two sides. One bedroom has a window view of the mountain range. There is a fully equipped kitchen, with full-size appliances and dining table. The large living room with a TV, leather couch, recliner, full bear mount and a work desk creates a wonderful atmosphere for your vacation. One bathroom with shower.

There is plenty of paved parking, including room for ATV/snowmobile trailers. In the winter, snowmobiles may be used around Seeley Lake.

We are people persons. Guests are welcome to use my cell phone to text or call. We will respect your privacy, but welcome communication with you. Feel free to reach out. We will do whatever we can do make your stay even more special.
Neighboring homes cannot be seen from this home. Just State and National Forests, and "The Bob" Marshall Wilderness Area.

During winter, snow mobiles can be used on the roads.

Pets, including service animals, are not allowed because there could be conflicts with other animals on the property. We have a herd of very friendly deer that spend a lot of time in and around the yard. Some will even allow you to touch them. That is a very positive experience for many of our guests. We would be glad to help you safely enjoy that experience.

We only rarely see bears (never grizzlies) and mountain lions, but we have seen them in the yard. They avoid people, but they are natural "hunters" and sometimes kill pets around town. For these reasons, as well as potential allergy problems, we do not accept animals, including service animals, on the property.
