The room isn't completely clean, there was a lot of dust and small bugs here and there. The gym facilities seem unfinished, with half the machines not working and a lot of the dumbbells missing. In itself, the building is a bit rundown and unclean. The fridge in our room was broken and refused to turn on, the phone was also broken. The TV channels didn't match the directory given and the AC was extremely inconsistent after trying to turn it on a couple of times. The biggest thing was the bug infestation. Our bed seemed to be infested with a lot of small bugs that bit terribly; I woke up with itchy, red welts all over my legs and feet. Overall, I would not recommend staying here at all.

The property itself was good. No issues. I arrived at 3:10pm and was given a lengthy lecture by the front desk clerk about no checkin before 4pm. I listened, said ok, and took a seat in the lobby. After about 20 minutes of listening to the clerk complain to the other staff about several other guests complaining and how she was so tired of listening to their complaints, she called across the lobby and asked for my last name, and then proceeded to check me in at about 3:40. The open conversations between the staff indicate that some customer service training may be warranted. I don’t generally like leaving negative reviews, but hopefully the property will take this as a learning opportunity.

The heat was broke when we first arrived but was fixed the following day. They never cleaned the room during our stay. The windows were cracked and seemed like a place where people were actually living. There was people hanging out that didn’t look so friendly. The overall room was a little outdated. The recliner chair was broken.

Very Interesting!!!
This is an interesting suites hotel. The suite is perfectly sized for the two of us for a weekend stay and is nicely located for a Douglass College Alumnae Association event. The place clearly takes pride in maintaining cleanliness, but amenities such as food and drink are hard to come by in the hotel itself. Nearby are several restaurants, however.

My toilet flooded and it took almost 40 minutes for someone to come clean it. Phones in room did not call front desk no matter how many times I tried, so I had to use my cell phone to do so. They couldn’t give me another room, so I had to stay in a room with a wet carpet. I also had To ask for new towels after that. My door was difficult to shut without really pushing it as hard as I could.

The hotel property is good and maintained. Staff is nice and helpful. Area around the hotel is ok, nothing to talk about. Though its quiet and peaceful.
