Having stayed at this site before, I was very disappointed in the accommodations - My room was in the basement essentially, and it was malodorous and the room directly above ours was EXTREMELY loud with floor creaking with every single step they took, and they must have had kids because there was a lot of jumping..and the noise went from about 6:30am-11:30 pm...continuous. And to have the facility pillage the rates up to nearly $700/night for a room that was barely worth is base rate is absolutely unacceptable practices- AND to charge additional for the meal...I am highly disappointed in the stay and the company. As a Hilton Rewards member, this was one of the WORST experiences I have had. The staff were kind, but our room was not cleaned between days. Overall poor rating for this experience.

Staff are mostly very pleasant. Location is excellent for airport and visiting students at UVM. (Although getting across the road can be a challenge) The corridors around the 200’s room have a stale smell. My room was comfortable. But hugely overpriced for what it is. Had a drink in the bar one night and think they could create more of an atmosphere/ appeal here, especially the nice sunny terrace. The general ambiance could be much more inviting. The free airport shuttle was appreciated and convenient.

The staff was extremely nice - especially Baris that checked us in. He was so friendly and pleasant. I had a wonderful swim in your very nice pool. Breakfast was good even though it was not included in the price of our room.

It was an ok place for a short stay. They advertised they have an indoor swimming, and when we got there they said it was under construction. I did not see anything about that. As I said it was a two-day stay that did not affect us much, but my son was not happy about it. Overall it is an ok place.

No TV service
Hotel was not what I expected given what we paid. Room was neat and clean but once again not reflective of cost. The TV in our room was not functioning ( cable not working) When I called the front desk hoping that they would be able to fix the problem from their end, I was told that they would need to send an engineer to evaluate the problem. I declined this, since my family was all sleeping and did not want to disturb them. Consequently for our stay, we had no TV service. I would have expected this to be addressed before I occupied the room. If I choose to stay at a Double Tree again,I will certainly check the TV upon my arrival.
