"It's a decent place to stay, however I believe it's a bit outside of the city and absence of lifts to the room we lived marred our experience a little. The staff is very friendly. Could do better on the breakfast spread."

"This is the perfect location! We were able to park our car (£20/night) and was in walking distance to most other places. It was across the street from various restaurants and close to The Vennel and one of the Edinburgh Sightseeing bus stops as well as one of the Lothian bus stops. Steps from Victoria Street and only a few more steps to the Royal Mile and Princes Street Gardens. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. We booked a balcony room with views of the castle and loved it! The breakfast was quite a spread and very tasty! Would definitely recommend. "
