Unfortunately we drove 4 hours so my kids could visit the U.P. And swim. The pool was closed the entire time we were here. I kept telling them we came for the pool, we were told sorry.. At the least let people know ahead of time or reimburse for some of the amount. The place is beautiful and great breakfast. But all my kids wanted was the pool

I stayed before in the newer rooms. It was excellent. This was an older Motel that was added to the main lodge. Dated '60s looking. The carpet was really dirty. My white socks had footprints from the dirt on the carpet. The room and bathroom were clean and you could tell they had been cleaned. The carpet just needed a good scrubbing.

We’ve stayed at Cedar Hill many times over the last 10 years. We always stayed in the Spruce Bldg with our pet. Now it’s no longer pet friendly so we paid the required $30 per night to stay in a cramped small room in Cedar Bldg. that was missing the towel bar and was all that clean. There are many much nicer options in St. Ignace. Sorry, Cedar Lodge, you’ve lost a repeat customer. Very unpleasant experience.

The service is just ok. There were no blankets in the room only the comforters on the beds. Was told that they only have comforters.

Check in receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Room was a bit dated, but clean and spacious. Enjoyed the hot tub in the room and it was quiet. Breakfast was good, although lacked eggs. Would have been nice to have scrambled or hard boiled. Overall very nice stay, and we would definitely stay here again.

Great value!
We’ve stayed at Cedar Hill Lodge almost every time we’ve visited Saint Ignace, and we are never disappointed. Rooms are welcoming with custom-painted cedar trees on the walls. Heated pool, hot tub, and campfire pits (with free wood) available to use. Breakfast served as well. Overall great value!
