It was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay in beautiful Stowe. I highly recommend Stoweflake in any season. The room was clean and very comfy. The lobby is homey with a fireplace. Enjoyed breakfast there, as well as the gym and indoor heated pool. Right in the middle of great dining and hiking options. Staff was very nice and helpful, especially Duncan who offered great tips on activities and dining. Great place!

Considering the money paid, we'd expected a little better. The room was dated, AC made a racket, and the light in the bathroom was hanging out the ceiling, no fridge and a 1/4 mile walk to get ice. The staff were friendly, and the cold breakfast option was plenty as long as the coach party doesn't nab it all instead of going to their own allocated dining room. I guess it's just an expensive area, and an expensive hotel to run. Overall we had a pleasant stay in Stow.

Hotel in need of rehab
This place is in need of some serious rehab. Move there from a campground after rained out. Adequate for one night's day but don't recommend this hotel. Staff were friendly but clearly the hotel needs work.

For the amount of money we paid, I reccomend anywhere else. This place is run down, the gardener evidently only has time to care for some flowers in the front. The furniture is shot. They were under construction, so there is no spa, or pool, and it was noisy in the day. The breakfast is cereal. You would be better off staying at a Motel 6.

The staff was fantastic! The hotel was so run down. Looks abandoned from the road. It smells awful inside. Our ac barely worked for the first two nights & totally quit for the third. Our kids requested to leave night 1. It’s in a great location but needs substantial work.

Coffee pot broken did put clean towels in room ice machine at end of the hall broken had to walk a long way from desk to room when there were rooms closer replacing rugs the smell of glue was awful was recommended by someone else will not be back
